Its not market share but the size of the install base that's important. How do they calculate market share anyway since most gamers own multiple platforms.

A difference of only 250k units is not anything to write home about given the PS4 has three times the install base. What's more interesting is why it only sold that many on PS4.
Oh yes, what if there had been no exclusivity deal and Uncharted 4 had not been delayed? Possibility it may still have sold that many copies or even less on PS4.

What 343 did was tp take the franchises lead protagonist and make him the side story. Lets also not forget the marketing which completely misrepresented the final product. Oh, and don't underestimate the removal of local co-op.
I will say it set up the series for part 6 really well and its hands down still an incredible multiplayer experience.

That really is a misinformed assumption. You're assuming millions of people that play the same game, are all basically identical in terms of upbringing, influences, etc. Why didnt everyone who smoked cigarettes contract the same life ending cancer?
If video games can have a positive influence on the human condition then its entirely feasible they can also have a negative influence.
In terms of build quality and hardware features the XB1X is the best console on the market at present. Its certainly making it possible for developers to quickly breath new life into past gen games.
The XB1X is closer to what MS should have started out with this gen.
I'm sure many will disagree which is fine but who wasn't at least a little bit puzzled at the noisy fan, lack of 4k blueray and no support higher speed wifi (original PS4).

Would be interested to know how the Japanese gaming community like the game...or not. Maybe its found a niche market there. I have to admit I have never been a huge fan of the Metal Gear franchise but even Metal Gear Survive looked like a cheap cash in on the Metal Gear name.
