Belking we all know you would defend M$ no matter what crap they try and pull, the xbone was rushed, M$ do not make good hardware at the best of times so this was always a recipe for disaster.
Yes I am seriously denying that, you can't seriously be suggesting the Xbox has anything that is any better than the PS4 lineup, you may prefer certain games but like I said Warthunder and Resogun are keeping me more than entertained and neither are available on the xbone the last time I looked.

I am a gamer which is why I choose the PS4, we all know that Sony have the better first party studios have a track record of supporting the console long into its life, you would have to be some Halo nut to buy the Xbox especially as third party games look better on the PS4 despite you trying to downplay it.
More powerful, cheaper, better first party support and launch games as good as anything Xbox has, Resogun and War Thunder have kept me more than entertained and they are b...
So despite M$ taking the easy route of outside power brick big casing and huge fan they still fail, as a piece of engineering the xbone is a joke compared to the PS4.
Stick to software M$ and leave the hardware to people who know what they are doing.

I don't think there is any reason to be devastated at 21 he should be able to make up his own mind, but with this generation and the PS4 being in such high demand it certainly seems a strange decision.
I have a feeling it won't be long before he is buying a PS4 as well though, so calm the green rage you don't want to smash your PS4, that really would be devastating.
PS4s are hard to come by they are pretty much none existent in the shops here in Britain Sony just cant keep up with demand which shows little sign of abating,
the same is not true for the xbox which is already becoming more easily available in fact my search here in England for a PS4 was fruitless but I did have some shops point out they had the xbox even though I didn't ask or was looking for them, I have no idea how much lead the PS4 will build over the coming months b...
Kingdad lets just leave it at I totally disagree, I know also because I too had a PS3 from the start and it is fair to say my favourite games came in the early years of the PS3, Motorstorm, Heavenly sword, little big Planet, Warhawk not to mention uncharted, It is well known the PS3 was difficult to program and that caused early problems but don't act as if there was nothing to play, once those problems were sorted the games flowed freely,

I agree Angelicicediamond, a company does not and will not advertise faults that is the mask, the truth is very different in many cases, my point about M$ using advertising better than most to hide faults or make things seem better than they are is still valid, especially when you are as good as M$ at it and have huge budgets to do so.
Yes it is a mask if they use it to highlight the good reviews push graphics instead of gameplay and bulk up third party support with timed exclusivity, selling Ryse as something amazing as well as dead rising etc is definetly hiding the truth but it is advertising and I would expect nothing else, like I said it is something M$ do very well, but as you point out later M$ record supporting the 360 especially in the last 3 years was pretty poor.

It's fair to say most that stuff will be available on the PS4, M$ like to make a lot of noise and do a good job of advertising games being very selective in their reviews making things seem a lot more exciting than they actually are (Ryse looks great but not much else for example) many will fall for it.
It will be interesting to see how things develop especially with the PS4 looking to be the dominant platform this gen, with Sony's excellent 1st party studios and 3rd ...
Or put your efforts into the less restrictive easier to develope PS4 console until it forces M$ to change their controlling ways, better for devs better for the consumer.
Typical M$ give with one hand take with another, I'm sorry Diacy M$ is all about control you only have to look at their crazy DRM plans to see that, it's the same with their dominance of the windows market, people are getting tired of M$ greed and it will come back to bite them.
This does nothing for the devs and nothing for the consumer, this only suits M$, luckily with the PS4 looking to be the dominant platform M$ will not have the same influence as last gen hopefully that means devs give M$ the middle finger and the PS4 is given the support it deserves.
If Sony continues to dominate sales they will be able to wield far more influence on third party developers, by the same token M$ will have far less influence without the same numbers and will have a hard time buying up exclusives if they do they will find it costing a lot more to do so as no developer will want to cut out the PS4 as the major console.
If Sony keeps up the 2-1 advantage M$ will have a hard time turning it around.
This was the first thing I downloaded when I got my PS4 and besides having other games I have not touched them apart from Resogun, my daughters boyfriend loves it and can't believe it was free.
Oh yes that is really what kinect should be doing, the guy is playing a game and is expected to mind his language while doing so, M$ really are so out of touch.

Agreed Cobberwebb, unfortunately my wife and daughter thought they were doing good when they found game were selling them and bought me one, I now have a PS4 at least but also other crap and games I wasn't interested in, which cost me over £500 I had to be gracious but I will not be buying any games from Game.
Apparently there was a constant que of about 20 people ready to buy them, Game are making big profits from The demand for the PS4

not sure how low the failure rate is for the xbox but I do know it is the first one I have seen on the net with smoke coming out of it, oh and a guy posting here sending his first one back and getting the replacement with the same exact same fault, fair to say he wasn't impressed
