Dan Scruggs, this is the UK we are talking about one of the few areas the 360 enjoyed a lead, not only has that lead gone the PS4 is dominating sales.
The lead would be a lot bigger but trying to find a PS4 in the UK is nye on impossible, too early to really judge but it is really looking good for the PS4
Another former 360 owner coming to the realisation M$ are cheap (his words) he is pissed and understandably does not want to jump through the hoops to get a replacement.
Some might think this would be normal for anyone with a defective unit but the slap in the face is to offer a free game that is already free, poor by any standards but typical of M$

The Xbox won't make a dent in the PS4s domination in Japan, the market belongs to Nintendo and Sony, but by all means M$ waste your money trying.
Japan was always going to be dominated by the PS4 but the demand is surprising everyone, not just in Japan but worldwide, the PS4 is delivering more sales than even Sony anticipated.
The PS4 is breaking all kinds of records, If Sony could only keep up with demand I dread to think how many they could sell.
with the PS4 set to become the dominant platform I wonder how many other studios will devote their time exclusively to the PS4?

Deathofthefanboy, at this moment you are comparing a very early version of the steam operating system, once it is properly optomised with it's focus on gaming the steam has every chance of breaking many of the shackles that slows down PC gaming.
It's early days but I bet those numbers will look very different a year from now.

Dehnus the PS2 had sold millions by the time the xbox arrived, PS2 had software developers pumping out some great games the xbox had little chance of competing with the tidal wave of games the PS2 had coming.
that is very different to where the PS4 and xbox one are now so it really is a stupid comparison.

A Steam machine certainly has my interest, I may wait a while but an operating system dedicated to gaming on a PC structure you can choose to upgrade definetely has it's benefits and will prove it's worth if it can gain enough traction.

66%-70% is huge and should mean the PS4 is well supported by third party developers and Indies not just in games but quality too with those kind of numbers the PS4 will become the lead platform this gen no more shoddy ports of third party games and superb first party games guaranteed from Sony.

Sony always deliver, offering not only great gaming experiences but an imagination and diversity that you have to respect, TLOU is a supreme example of the quality Sony first party teams offer along with many more, I look forward to see what is bought to the table by them with the PS4, it's going to be one hell of a ride

Not surprising after the crap M$ tried to pull, the xbox has the weaker specs while being more expensive, with Sony having far better first party support and 3rd party games looking better on the PS4 the choice is a simple one.
Melman to claim a game is next gen because they have a big budget is stupid, Ryse was a kinect game for the 360 before it was decided to use it for the new xbox and it's $hit
Oh I know Forza thats next gen right? Wrong it offers less cars and tracks than the last game and is nothing to write home about unless you like micro transactions, the rest are pretty average too, as you have said the real games for these consoles will be in the future.

I'll be leaving the kinect crap to the kids this is a proper next gen gaming device that could really enhance a persons gaming experience and certainly has my interest, it won't come cheap but should offer a genuinely immersive experience can't wait.
