I think this is more a threat to the PC market more precisely windows, If it can gather enough steam (excuse the pun) an operating system on PC architecture designed with pure gaming in mind could turn out to be lot less hassle and far more efficient.
Time will tell but if it takes off I will be more than interested in buying one.
Though 6x6 sounds disapointing, in fact is disapointing to many, if done right it might work, one things for sure though this game is not selling itself very well, if it turns out to be 6x6 and 720p as expected it is hardly coming across as a full on next gen title.
Impressive numbers and with demand outstripping supply you have to wonder how much higher that number might have been.
With the PS4 looking in great shape this generation, a plethora of games will surely follow.

The topic is about choosing the best console option, someone mentions titanfall as a reason to buy the xbox but surely the fact you don't need an xbox to play it weakens that argument, especially as the PC will be the more impressive version and if it is another 720p game on the xbox which is seems likely buying the xbox for it seems even less attractive.

To me there seems to be a lot more reasons to buy the PS4 than the xbox but in the end it is down to the individual, but most people at this time seem to be choosing the PS4 which only bodes well for the system and it's gaming future.

CrossingEden whatever you might think about the games available at the moment you would be naive in the extreme to think the games will not be flowing soon enough and when they do it won't stop.
Games are something Sony and playstation have always done very well you don't need rose tinted glasses to see that, as the title says be patient.
lucky sods here in Wolverhampton (UK) they have no PS4s despite selling only expensive bundles although the guy did say they were expecting more to come in next week, but then again thats what they always say.
Good advice, the PS4 is going to dominate this gen with it's superior specs and cheaper price it has already made a great start
Sony first party studios are yet to make their mark and with third party software already performing better on the PS4 hardware the PS4 has a bright future.
Be patient as the saying goes good things come to those who wait.
Been having a blast with War Thunder this looks to be a great addition although I must admit the ships are what I'm looking forward to the most.

The PS4 is simply the more powerful better designed option while also being cheaper, Sony's record of producing top as well as varied game support seals the deal, even without the stupid decisions M$ have made with the xbox the PS4 would still deserve it's place at the top this gen.
If nothing else they bring potential, a PC without windows focused on gaming running an efficient game based operating system could take PC gaming to the next level.
It will be a slow burner but overtime really could take over the PC gaming market.
