Oh Crimzon one day it will hit you and you will realise VR is not just another gaming peripheral, billions are being poured into VR from all sort of major tech companies.
VR is here to stay, you will figure it out eventually.
VR is finally coming of age.
Which is why big companies are falling over themselves to grab a peice of the pie, It still amazes me how many people are blind to whats happening, and think VR is going away, when in reality it will only go from strength to strength.
I think it should be bought to England, GTA Wolverhampton hell yeah.
For those that dont know I am joking.
VR is the sleeping giant this year, but it's about to wake up.
VR will impact all of our lives, people imagining it just as a gaming device have no idea of it's potential, there is a reason literally billions are being poured into VR, far more than 3d or motion controls ever saw.
VR is here to stay and will become more sophisticated and polished over the years.
Exciting times ahead.
Gordon, they didn't make any big deal out of it and I would suggest you do the same, it really isn't an issue.
But an interesting link so thanks for that.
Gordon stop talking out of your a, Sony has a lifetimes experience in display technologies, the PSVR display minimises screen door and is probably less of a problem than it is on the other devices, screen door is not an issue anyone buying PSVR should be concerned with.

I think if PS4 is running at 1080p and the xone is running at 720p it is right to ask questions, as gamers if a game is running better on the PS4 no matter the resolution, it would be a worthwhile consideration.
What you mean it flopped in the 1990's? when the power of computing was a fraction of what it is today and the VR tech was barely functional.
Tech has reached a stage when VR can grow, these are early days but the tech from the 90's pale in comparison.
As you said there are enough people now who have tried it to know that the experience will be well worth the entrance price, the fact that many games are coming out for all three devices should tell you that PSVR is a very capable well thought out device.
I can't wait to try it.
Another one comparing it to 3D tv, you guys have no clue.
As Dash said the PS4 was made very much with VR in mind, the light bar on the front of every controller is a clue.
It is nothing like 3D movies and your argument loses any credibility as soon as you bring 3D tv into the argument, they are worlds apart, not only in what they can do but their potential going forward.
anyone comparing it to 3D TV immediately loses their argument
Don't worry VR will be around for a long time, it's potential going forward is massive for all sorts of things.
And there goes another with no comprehension of what VR is or it's potential, comparing it to simple 3d, farankly shows how little you understand what VR is or brings to the table.
I think VR will certainly be a hit, the article itself says VR has a future outside of gaming as well, VR is here to stay and has many possibilities, Tech companies see it, software companies see it and it's potential going forward is enormous and companies are falling over themselves grab a piece of the pie.
There is a reason for the hype, if you choose to miss out, thats your loss.
VR will be around for a long time.
I'm afraid mobiles have undermined the reasons for a dedicated handheld gaming device, gaming on the go is everywhere for those that want it and is why I can't see a follow up to the Vita.
Vita didnt fail, it is just less relevant in todays world.
All the evidence says VR will be around for a long time, big companies, tech, movies, developers etc are all eagerly looking at ways to use VR.
The potential is enormous, anyone thinking VR is going to disappear really isn't seeing whats happening.
