When articles have the title everything such and such does right (and Wrong) I just assume click bait. Regardless of the outlet it comes from since I gave yet to read an actual in depth article with such title.
Ive been plodding through this slowly it just hasn't grabbed me I can see the level of polish they put into this game it's just not for me so I can see where this review is coming from. If I had to give it a score I would give it 9/10 even though it's not my cup of tea I still have to give credit where credit is due.
They were always multi-platform they just choose to partner with MS since it cost less to develop just for one system.
20 hours in myself and still on chapter 3 so yeah I would say i am enjoying it.
I have an LG TV and couldn't get any video had to boot into safe mode and set it to 1080 to get it to display. Then switch the HDCP so it is a well know issue affecting LG TV not sure about other brands but go to sony forums and there are a lot of people who have the same problem.
That may be true of games right now but in a few months when games that were built from the ground up to take advantage of the PRO then we will see the differences. Zero dawn Horizon should be that game.
They have said it will release in march but didn't give a date they have said though that Zelda will release March 15 for the WiiU that game is also a switch title so putting 2 and 2 together more than likely it will also release march 15.
This 3 games at $60 is worth it even with out them being remastered. To me all 3 stand as classics and shine in different area.
I hope this is still coming to Ipad this seemed like a good touch game was waiting for that version. I think this may have been canceled as I can't find any info on a mobile release date.
I can't wait for this game it's by Keiji Inafune and most of the same people from Retro who did Metroid Prime which was a solid series minus the scanning which was put in for Japanese gamers at Nintendo's request.
There is no reason for this to not have 4k support original PS4 can do 4k it was just the HDMI port holding it back from doing it properly at 60hz if this doesn't play 4k content it will be really head scratching as it adds nothing to the cost to make it..
I forgot this game was even coming out till the reviews started to trickle out. Human Revolution was a great game so excited for this one now.
Both Sony and MS were forced to make smaller units because of the switch to smaller processors by the manufacture. So to continue to make them would have cost more since they are switch all the processing lines over to 14nm which yields more product and a greater profit for manufactures. The smaller processors also allow them to have a higher clock speed since cooling is less of an issue in the smaller form factor.
Not sure why they keep mentioning the upscale thing as all 4k TVs upscale automatically so the Xbox doing it is moot. Also images that are 720 or 1080 actually upscale almost perfectly you won't see stretched images with 4k up-scaling like you did last gen when they were up-scaling from below 720p to 1080p.
HDR 10 will win easily its open source as opposed to Dolby vision must be licensed from Dolby and requires special hardware were as HDR10 is done using software. Just watched my first 4k movie on the new S and it was absolutely gorgeous the difference between being up-scaled and watching in native 4k was dramatic. Watched Mad Mad Max by the way.
Them announcing a cheaper Xbox that plays 4k blurays is what lead me to finally buying a 4k TV which came with a $400 gift card so...
I still don't see how these are mid cycle upgrades I've been buying a new Nintendo every 4-5 year which is around the same time frame for the Scorpio and maybe the Neo as well since no release date yet for the former. The only major difference is the complete backwards compatibility, which with the movie to a digital age we should have going forward for all consoles as a standard.
SNES great collection of RPG plus some of the best platforms and adventure game there are. While not on ps2 level in terms of RPG it better in every other way.
I actually liked MS always on vision other than lacking the ability to play offline for X number of days it was beat for beat what Valve already does with Steam.
Your looking at retail prices MS bought the chip set in bulk and probably also share in manufacturing cost driving down the price they would pay for it dramatically. My guess would be around 399 since that seems to be the sweet spot for new consoles to sell well.
Easily my favorite "Tales of" Game I like the last 2 that came to the US but I miss the battle systems from earlier games new they were way more involved combat system compared to what we have now.
