Thats actually a pretty good list detailing the pros and cons of each of those cards, without company bias (which is ridiculous, the more competitors the better, people just get upset when they don't buy the new "leetest" in-vogue equipment).
I picked up an EVGA 260 and I have to say it is a fantastic chipset/card, especially if you have a 22" monitor or less.
I am surprised no one has realized that the entire blog post is one big way of saying Fallout 3 is an amazing game. He is being sarcastic people...
A little late on the uptake the author is, hmmm?
I am pretty excited for this game, I hope it turns out well.
As a diehard PC gamer though, I think I might need to go back and grab Metroid or RE4 to get used to the controls of a FPS with the wiimote nunchuck. Yes I haven't played either, I am ashamed...
My question revolves around something that caught my concern at the previous showings:
There are real guns, but are there appropriate munitions for each, rather than just "Assault rifle ammo", "Rocket Launcher Ammo", and "Special Ammo"? I want some realistic ammunition to go with my realistic weapons thank you.
@4.4
You would be surprised how many people are tech savvy enough to realize they don't want to pay Dell out the ass, and that pretty much everyone now knows someone who can build them on on the cheap, if they don't know how to do it themselves. Pretty much my entire family is running computers that I built for them, and they aren't even gamers, nor highly tech savvy.
Pffff duh. What do you think I am, some sort of idiot?
I was there for another preorder (one I figured they would all be on about, GH: WT for the Wii, which they were), and figured, what the hey, preorder FO3 too. Then I changed my mind...
Not that surprising that PC game sales are down for Gamestop, when their retail stores carry at most like 50 titles at a time, packaged in the back corner somewhere on a tiny little cart you would miss as it is surrounded by a mountain of used games.
I went there to preorder Fallout 3 on PC and they told me it was only coming out on the PS3 and Xbox, and I should get it on there because it would come with something for free and that if I get an Xbox it would work better than ...
Well god forbid a company gives something unique and special to kids who are forced to do nothing all day.
Its going to be the replacement for either the Pally or the Sorc, I would be the Sorc for now, since we already have a major melee guy, and no straight up magic char.
Yeah this is definitely a joke. The "set" picture is in no way NOT photoshopped.
Also, Microsoft can not sell the rights to a game that they have no controlling stake in you morons...
This service is great, I am grabbing a few titles in the early access beta right now, and the website is shiny and smooth. Downloads are a little slow, but not intolerable. Can't beat the price and the value though, thats for damn sure!
Yeah dude, seriously, the title is completely misleading. He literally FOUND religion in the game. Like, there were religious things in the game, and he noticed them.
As for the article itself, I am playing Spore right now (very cool game, or toy more exactly), and he carved a religious path according to the terms of the game, not philosophy. I get the idea that the religious take is musical and stuff, but it is not the only peaceful option. Its all about developing your cr...
The Klobb, even in Liscence to Kill mode, was chosen AFTER slappers...
God using the Klobb brings back nightmares, of me versus someone with the RCP90 in LTK...
And then the disintigration of Sony's profit...
Of course by then, if Sony had dropped their price, I would be more concerned with the temperature in Hell.
Glad other people are pointing out the glaring omission, which is the exclusion of Windows ME, a product so bad that Microsoft's pretty much denies its existence.
98 SE was the good 98, not the original, so hes got that down. I also agree with the initial version of XP, and even today, if you don't have XP Pro, you don't have a very good version of XP. Luckily pretty much everyone has Pro now.
Weird choice for a soundtrack...
I have no idea why someone would buy this, I just get creeped out by the Wii Fit music... especially with the albino monotone trainer, and the possessed Wii Balance Board that insults me.
Kill it with fire!
Probably just bandwidth problems on the websites end. Since my computer at work sucks, I stuck with the SD one, and it was smooth as hell.
Looks great so far. I thank them for deftly running through some of the beginning without giving too much of the details. Good teasers for sure.
Only thing I am worried about is how VATS will work in game. I wonder how it will work out in the new 3d world of Fallout.
And the graphics make the world look ter...
If you ignore the PC version which will have better controls, and get the DLC for free.
Oh and better graphics but we all know that.
Excuse me though I will let the console war continue. Sorry for interrupting.
For Warcraft/Starcraft? Nothing tops: "STOP POKING MEEEEE!!!"
