I personally felt she is more 'angry at everything' than 'angsty and stoic'.. But I played the japanese version, and I got it from her voice tones and how she said it..
I remember this, this was explained in one scene.. I remember that scene has no build up, came out of nowhere..
Yup, I second this. Some interesting things in the end, but overall its pretty bad.
Yeah, how could the year FF XV and Last Guardian came out be a crappy year..
Is it because three great FPS came out the same time?
Is it because this year has no MGS, Witcher, Bloodborne, and Fallout?
Is it all the 4K things?
I loved LR more than the other two... does it count?
I thought they only made the core assets and the engine for XV. Then tabata's team stepped in, scrap most of its concept to make way for open world hunting action game. In my mind they always makes KH games: 358/2, bbs, DDD, 1.5, 2.5, 2.8, six games in 7-8 years. Probably they got very small part in 15, vsXIII is and always was an empty promise.. I never trust what SE say anymore..
Ps: FF XV is great!!
Overall so far, I love 15 battle system, the hunts and dungeons, I really really like it.. Not the main story though, if I didn't watch kingsglaive I'd probably don't understand anything. I'm going on 40 hours and still on chapter 8.
I think it is not a PR stunt, but more of stuffs they didn't finish on time.. so apparently delaying 2 months actually wasn't enough
I've tried 2 times, it still bored me. I actually started to played it again after I read wiki page and thought the story is actually awesome. What I think was the story should've got more focused on barthadelus and bhunivelze. While all the characters arcs are okay, none of them really wowed me.. and when the credits rolled, I was really disappointed.
No game is perfect. What makes a game amazing is how it maximizes its potential so the player doesn't care about the flaws. Tlou did this brilliantly to me, either the setting, art, story, and the "I swear could've save more bullets" gameplay. And it also came out strong as a new IP in a time where everything else is either a sequel, a reboot, or an indie game.
I thought she was not that bad. But i played the japanese version so i didn't that find it annoying when see acts like something from an anime. But yes I find that she is not really appealing..
@fromchildren That's very unlikely. Nomura is all about KH now, and it seems to me that it is always been like that. I also suspect he handles FF7 remake as a supervising role..
Hype!!!
I liked it too. My personal best in trilogy gotta say is FF13:LR. To me XIII2 design is still to attached XIII gameplay design (which I really didn't like), but they tuneup the battle system and add pokemon-ish catch em all.. My other let down about it is that it often felt half-baked.
I like this idea. I want them to go back to light medieval setting with a bit steampunk icing (just for airplanes and stuff) or maybe go for a fully fantasy setting like tales..
My raincoat is also orange.. now three things are orange... hmm
It does rely on a base unit... only this time the base unit is actually portable and has a screen. My thought was it's like wiiU, but they move the processing unit to the gamepad thus makes it truly portable.
Well what I first thought was the vita have cartridges as memory cards, and those are quite costly... they also have cartridges for games that doesn't get bigger than 4 GBs in PSN.
Also 3DS games is smaller (I think)..
handheld-ish with ps4 specs and cartridges, hard to imagine.. but if they could actually pull it off, just wow... I'm guessing there's a box with all the processing power..
The legacy is always sephiroth.. his theme.. then there is shinra.. midgar.. clever use of plot twists to make characters deeper.. a death that drives the second part of story.. the buster sword.. so many cool things to take away probably is why people debating which coolest.
