Square made the original classic.. but SE are the ones who milked it
I think he is a gameplay designer/director.. so basically every gameplay design and decisions in TLOU went through him..
Well one does need to become more corporate in order to drive other people out.. And I'm guessing not many people in games development like to do that
So the point is she needs a rest from uncharted, and do something else like EA Starwars Adventure thing.. best of luck for her, and I think starwars games needs big talent like her to make a big jump..
I disagree with everyone.. I really like every uncharted games with or without Hennig, except maybe the vita one just because the small screen doesnt make sense in an uncharted game..
First one was great. 2 is better. 3 is just as great. 4 is a bit different, but still really great..
What about FF x COD..
Or FF x GTA..
Or FF x FIFA..
Or FF x Halo...
Or FF x Uncharted..
Lets have a moment of peace, by now bioware is unofficially dead... mass effect, dragon age, jade, kotor, baldurs gate are all gone.. EA just shut down the last thing I care about Bioware
Or maybe, I dunno.. just make ff16
Well XV is what happens when an overambitious project went unchecked, goes overbudget and forgotten, and then given to somebody else to finish it.. in the end its a whole another thing with some flashes of the old thing in it..
It is a good cautionary tale to the industry..
Canceled when said developer makes an awesome ps4 exclusive Thor demo
Rather than old IP, I want them to make new ones again.. but then again this is not the bioware that dared to make NWN, KOTOR, Jade Empire, and Mass Effect
I like both of them.. both have the same story problems and fun gameplay. And both had their original director changed..
XV is a good game.. I love the hunts and the dungeons, but not much else..
Even I manage to finished it twice..
Probably because many ff have awesome female characters, except XV..
Stormblood is online, which means subscription, and a lot of grinding, and other mmo tropes.. I personally dont have the time and dedication for it. I read somewhere some guys really love XIV series, even said Heavensward and Stormblood are 2 of the best FF ever, storywise
Agreed, after he left everything about ff as a video game franchise feel different.. back then he was the main producer of FF who knows everything and also gave Nomura a team to make KH.. Then the weird FF X-2, the troublesome development of XII, the overambitious XIII series.. compared to ps1 days, 3 big sprawling rpg in multi discs in 4 years with mostly unanimous fanbase, big difference.
With KH3 coming next year, XV still waiting for gladios dlc and the mysterious fina...
They did a gamble with ffvii larger western marketing budget.. mostly because amazing western reception from ff iv, vi (or 2/3 at the time), and chrono trigger.. VII's success made them a ps1 rpg developer-publisher powerhouse
Well, they are still making weird spin offs.. but on smartphones
And those games also tells us what ledge to grab. No more wandering and jumping everywhere..
It is one of my favorites.. I love just how many and diverse story themes FF9 tackles. And all of it are delivered by a simple plot makes it very easy to follow..
