All I read was a headline that said, "Nintendo should make games for our system, because they make awesome games and we want to play them, but we are too cheap and hate Nintendo with an irrational hate, so we can't ever be found stooping to the level of buying a Nintendo system and supporting them, because everyone says Nintendo is uncool, and perception amongst my peers means everything to me."

Ok, to that extent I agree...I think people understimate what the Wii U can do, and more importantly will do with the power it has. Off the shelf pc parts says to me 75+% potential day one, leaving little room for anything grandly different by the end. I am just curious...what does the PS4(or maybe what do you think) have 'over' or 'on' the Wii U exactly, other than hype? Games? No. Online? Pay vs free? What about functions? Interet? I would love a PS4 with the ability to play PS3 games(doesn't exist), so I'm not paying $400+ for a system with three games. If I could get a bundle with PS4, with like Uncharted or Infamous and Gran Turismo with a controller to play with a buddy for like $250-$300, I would consider buying it along with my Wii U.

Lack of achievements/trophies do not make its online 'subpar', if you don't have a DVD player at this point, something is seriously wrong(besides, it's just one more function to go wrong in a GAME system), and while more than 2gb of ram might have been nice, they also have 32mb of edram, which the PS4 does not have, not to mention I don't know how many PC players I have read that have said even the most taxing games really don't go over 3-4 gb, and that on a pc where s...
I was actually referring to the rather negative tone in stating that the PS4(a system with very few unique games mind you), is somehow wanted more than a system that actually has quite a few games after a year, as if it was some kind of 'obvious' thing, based on a non-specific survey. The PS4, while it may have lots of hype out the gate, has realistically only a marginally better chance of doing better than the Wii U did in its first year.

I thought about not getting this game because of the reviews, but everything I have seen looks fun, the speed is in the hands of the player, walk, run, spin dash...whats not to like? And the challenging difficulty? Yes please!
Actually, if I'm not mistaken, they dropped Nintendoland from the bundle, and replaced it with these two games, and dropped the price of Nintendoland as a standalone title

Thank you...its nice to see someone who games because they enjoy it, and doesn't feel the need to bash another system based on pointless and relatively indifferent specs. I have seen these new games, and nothing has really blown anything from last gen out of the water. Some more effects? Yea. Smoother framerates? Of course. But really, once you make things look like their real counterparts, where else is there to go?

I understand what progress is, and my expectations are equal to what we are getting. I have also seen it in motion, and I am buying it when it releases(on my Wii U)...I just do not understand what everyone is looking at...there is nothing so stunning separating current gen from next gen, and surely nothing leaving the Wii U in the dust, so all the hate at N4G, as far as I am concerned, is unfounded.

This question is not just for you, but so many people who aren't sold on the Wii U...I really have to ask why? Is it because they offer more 'hardcore mature' games? Is it because everyone says 'The Wii U is failing', and you are afraid to jump on a perceived sinking ship? Or because they are really selling you on features or games? Agree with this completely...I don't know how anyone keeps up with all the games on these systems just on price of buying these games alone(let alone time required to play them), because even with Watch Dogs moved up I can find at least two games a month for Wii U, Batman and Sonic this month, COD, ACIV, Mario, Wii Sports and Fit, Deus Ex, Sonic and Mario, etc, with DKC, Watch Dogs, and MK8 all looking like before April...

Not likely...though I can't complain, as hopefully stiff competition wii bring out the best in Nintendo, which should work out for everyone :)
