Best 3DS news I have heard in a while...the first one is definitely my favorite game on the system, so I am so excited for this and to hear more!
Hell in the bible is not what everyone imagines...firstly, it is mistranslated from two different words, Sheol and Gehenna. Sheol is the grave, where nothing happens, you go back in the ground and 'sleep'(from dust you came, and to dust you shall return), and Gehenna is the lake of fire, where everyone whose names are not found in the book of life will be thrown, and it will be an 'eternal death'(meaning the end of your existence, of which you will never return from).
I am about to do the same but the collectors edition bc I never got it, as well as SMG2 and Punch-Out!...I just prefer physical copies of games.
Agreed...the first Metroid Prime is also my all time #1 favorite game, just absolutely amazing :)
@scissorrunner
I would also like to point out that it is free online on both Wii U and PC...same cannot be said of the others...
I just don't understand this comment, or others like it...it has more than enough merit to justify its price. Free online, free video chat, backwards compatibility, gamepad controller(which if you don't like it fine, but it is an option i thoroughly enjoy, not to mention allowing for off-tv play), functional games out the gate, one of the fastest internet browsers I have ever used, gamepad doubles as a tv remote, no day one patches to fix your game, no mandatory installs, optional hd...
It isn't iconic really at all, but I think one of the coolest swords for me is the Fierce Diety sword from Majora's Mask...that is one badass sword!
@witwolfy
I never played it, but looking at the comparison shot, I actually think the PS3's rougher version looks closer to real...all the shadows and blurring IMO I think make his face look less real on the PS4 version. But thats just me looking at the screenshot.
I would just like to see Slightly Mad use this for Project Cars...having analog triggers would be so much nicer than digital...
I am guessing you never played Megaman(nes), Ninja Gaiden(nes), Battletoads(nes), or dozens of other intimately difficult 8-bit games...which only allows me to insinuate that gaming for you started on PS1 or PS2, and that you have never seen a truly hard or demanding game in your life, because quite frankly games keep getting easier each generation...even the rarities like Viewtiful Joe or Dark Souls are just that, rare. I am of the opinion that if you can beat most of those blindingly diffi...
@2pacalypsenow
I dont believe that at all, and I was making fun of no one...I was simply pointing out the irony of people not knowing what stuff is about...calling someone out because they dont know the meaning of christmas when christmas has nothing to do with Christ, I mean come on...a tree with lights? Giving presents to one another on someone elses supposed birthday? I dont suppose you imagine Easter with a bunny and dyed eggs and candy has anything to do with Christ ei...
Clearly they are not the only ones who dont understand the meaning of PAGANmas, uh, I mean christmas...
@Bubbamilk -
Thank you for saying this. This is why I game, to enjoy myself. Games shouldn't taken so seriously, my daily work and responsibility is serious enough, I enjoy fun games that make me smile and have heart warming stories...and why shouldn't I? I play games to escape adulthood and become a child, not so that I can preach to everyone how adult I am bc of what I play, where in reality i am actually a child. You sir have it right.
Not to ...
Casual friendly? Yes. But I have to be honest, I think it actually takes more time and practice to get really good at Smash than it does Street Fighter. Now granted, I never played the console version, but the 3ds one(I am pretty sure they are like identical though), and I beat that on the hardest difficulty within about 3 hours of putting it in. Is it harder up front? Definitely. Is it harder to master? I don't really think so. Blocking, jumping, dodging, grabbing, and items add ...
'I/we love Mario, but he is losing his appeal'
Now, lets flip this for the other perspective:
'I/we love/loved FPS's, but they are losing their appeal'
There. See how that can actually fit into lots of other peoples minds, just as the first sentence can? Fact is, play what you like. Mario may not be drawing in tons of new people, but the days when COD/any other unnamed shooters did that is over too. Mario, in the 3d platforming...
I am not necessarily going to disagree on what the sales are going to be, but I have to ask...who is this massive user base thats going to buy these systems in the new year? And what will they be buying it for I wonder? 2-3 new AAA games by summer? Everything else is playable on old systems without having to drop $400+ dollars, new controllers, and pay for online.
I'm sorry, but I just don't see what everyone is saying. No one seems to be looking at the big pictur...
@Th4Freak
It is not Nintendo owners responibility to buy third party games when they are trash. I was gonna buy Sniper Elite V2...guess what happened? They cut out the co-op, and I didn't buy it, bc it was half assed. I was gonna buy Splinter Cell, and they axed something(don't remember at this point honestly), and the version ran the worst...so I didn't buy it, bc it was half assed. I was gonna buy Arkham Origins, and then they didn't have online...half assed. De...
I am not saying that Nintendo doesn't have third party issues, but c'mon here...not only is this Call of Duty terribly short, the port runs worse in areas than the 360 and ps3 versions, hell it runs worse than Black Ops 2, and the one feature which actually might have kicked up Wii U sales(cross platform clans), they took it out.
Here are the facts: Most people who like Nintendo don't buy junk. No one likes EA, because they half-ass their games, and ditched Nint...
This list was just fine, up to the part where they left out Rayman Legends...I mean are you kidding me?!? Rayman Legends is not only one of the best platformers I have ever played, it is definitely top 5 material for the year, definitely better than DuckTales, even though thats also a fantastic game.
Ubisoft made an extremely tight, content packed game, and what really makes the game stand out is that the music is stellar, and the game is just downright FUN, which, when play...
Everyone is saying like 'duh, who didn't know that'? But honestly, I have beaten all the cups on 150 and mirror, have like over 5000 in score online, and quite frankly, I had no idea what the point of the coins was for...but hey, maybe I will do even better online now that I have this crucial information, muhahaha!
