You can't make changes without alienating some of your fanbase. As someone who loved 2 and 3, you are missing out bro. I definitely adored most of the changes and additions introduced. They made he series darker and with more serious storytelling.

I'm not pretending there wasn't hype with this game. There are people like me who like the game. I think This will sell just fine. It deserves a sequel because it was made to last.
If people still bought is because it's not a bad game. If some people didn't buy it is because they thought it wasn't good. It's called opinion or preference, mind you! How could it be possible to make changes in a sequel if people don't buy the 1st the game?
Reminds me of Assssins Creed 1. if people hadn't bought that game, there wouldn't be Assassins Creed 2, a game which overhauled almost everything because of the support the 1st had.
Don't people know a team making a game is divided in groups? Directors, Graphics, gameplay, and so on? Lol It was expected in the 20th century that video games will reach photorealism and will look like movies graphic wise overtime, and It will just get better the more consoles are made.

I'm excited to play this game by the end of this week. Looks so good!
One of the things that make Demon/Dark souls so hard is its cheap design and clunky animations, such has when your character falls and has the half of the body out of the border and the other half in. And when your character tries to stand up, he falls. It happens a lot. The Souls series has many flaws that it just makes the game more difficult and forces you to think before act. That is why it never gets penalize or nobody bashes it, ass opposed to other games.
