Length has always been a minor issue since forever. Games in the past weren't as long as I thought they were, and I realized that when I played Ocarina of time on my 3DS. Do people really put length over fun and quality? I actually never cared and still don't care about the length of games. I just care about the fun and entertainment.
And let's not talk about many short games out there that still many didn'...
Omg why hasn't this never be done with the Metal Gear Solid games? Cutscenes in that game take even more than 10 minutes.

I hope the people who are excited about this game and those who lost interest can see beyond all the constant hate this game has got prior release and realize it could be a great game. Just how fast negative articles about this game pop up on this site and how every story is almost the same with different titles makes make me think that there's something fishy going on.

So what happens when a game has zero hype? Should it get a bad score? Hype has to do with people's expectations about a game, not scores. Scores are persona opinions. Scores are just numbers.
This is just the beginning of gen 8, and look how stunning games can be on PS4. Imagine when devs use all the cores of the processor and max it out. The future is bright

The Order: 1886 gets 7s, 8s, and 9s across all websites, and a solid 80-85 metascore. Haters go rampage and say Sony payed everybody. The Order:1886 sells over 5 million in 2 months.

What I find funny is that The game is being criticized by some stuff other games have been doing for a while and no complain about them. Lineality? What about TLOU, Biochock...? QTES? plenty of games do that already. Short? Ha! Plenty as well.

Not officially confirmer. The length of this game is all over the place. It's even funny. Some say it's 5 hrs. Others have proven it to be 8 to 12 hrs, and more.
A game with Quality and less quantity can coexists.

If the Order is 8 to 12 long like it's been said(though overshadowed by that Youtuber that beat the game in 5 hrs) and it has quality gameplay ans story, then it will be worth the price tag.

Glad this game didn't join the Broken Games party. According to some of the videos I've seen without spoilers, the game looks really well-polished.
I was a big fan of Kirby back in the SNES-N64 era. I stopped playing kirbi games when Sakuray left the series and it started to drop in Quality. This kirby game doesn't look appealing to me.

It a video game by definition. Cinematic experiences don't make games less games than other. You will still be handling a controller and shooting enemies.

It's called ''Variety.'' Linear games, open world, multiplayer, platformers, and etc. This industry has become more varied than in the past. Don't like a type of game? Don't buy it! I personally enjoy all kind of games that are well made.
