People shouldn't give up on hard games. Video Games nowadays are easy and often aren't that challenging. With all due respect and call me out if I'm wrong for what I'm going to say: I feel like people who give up on the Souls games are weak, and probably will give up in real life as well in any situation. Also, It depends of what you left off in the game. It could take more processing than before.
With the feature already release, devs will fully optimize the games to load their games faster with this. Because those Games were already released before the patch, it may be the reason why they have inconsistent load times. This can only get better!
Every game is different, so of course the timing will be inconsistent. Not really a fair comparisson. It's like comparing GTA V load times with The Last of Us. Both of which have only one load time and it when you begin to play.
Why do the internet somehow has to nitpick all the time? Damn! BB takes like 10 secs. That's the only game I've tested so far.
Tip: If you disable the facial recognition log-in, it will be faster.

Remember back in 2014 when SCEA fired a lot of people from their studios, there were studios that weren't affect, this one included along with Bend, Naughty Dog, and Japan studios. I guess their time has finally come to restructure, like Evolution studios that recently got hit by layoffs. It would have been very stupid to port this game after the bad rep the Order gave to the PS4, and after there haven't been a well-received exclusive since Infamous SS (or TLOU RE).
I'm not even shocked by this seeing that no PlayStation exclusive has been on PC. This is what exclusives are for. Get a PS4!
As far as I know, PS4 has only 2 AAA PS3 exclusives remasters, which are The Last of Us and God of War 3. Makes no sense to me why people make fun of the PS4 saying it is the remastered console. Sony isn't to blame for the 3rd party remasters.

Even if its not renewed (Very unlikely. Companies don't abandon trademarks easily), that doesn't mean they will lose the exclusivity of the game. They will just lose the name of the game, which can be taken by another company for anything and force FromSoft and Sony to chose another name.
