They did it to try and entice people to spend real money on loot boxes. Nothing to do with wanting people to feel "special" about getting something rare.

Finding matches seems to be working alright, but partying up with friends doesn't work at all, at least here on Xbox One. Don't know about PS4 and PC.

Pretty much played exclusively as Mercy during the beta. Plan on continuing that for the full game. Feels good to support the team.

Well, besides the fact that people are just plain tired of future stuff, most everyone is probably mad because you have to buy this game in order to get MW remastered. I'm one of them.
