It was released around the same time as Overwatch, there was little to no marketing and let's be honest; hardly anyone wanted this game to begin with--at least not from Gearbox. They want Borderlands 3.
Before people lose their shit by just reading the somewhat click-baity title, here's the crux of the article:
"Once we reveal more information about Project Scorpio in the coming months and over the next year, I think it’s about choice," Hryb said. "There are certainly people that have the time and the resources to build their own PC, and they want to have the latest graphics card when it comes out. And that’s fine! That’s a great audience, we love those ...
Microtransactions... Just like how I remember the game 9 years ago. Well, even if this game does finally get sold on its own; I'm definitely not buying it now.
This is how it is for a lot of FPS games where the obvious main focus is multiplayer. People on here can talk all they want about how the campaign for BF1 was great (which it was) and how they're happy that other FPS games this year, like COD and Titanfall 2 also had great campaigns, but the vast majority don't play them.
It actually is a cultural thing. Rather than outright fire employees, Japanese companies will do things like isolate employees and sometimes have them do mindless repetitive tasks in an effort to make that person quit. For them, it's about "saving the face of the company". They don't want to admit that they had bad employees and needed to fire them. Not saying Kojima was a bad employee, though, but obviously Konami did and that's why this was done to him. And yes; it is ...
Wait, none of your party members can die? That's honestly disappointing.
Hm... Guess I'm not as much of a gamer as I thought ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
*cries in a corner*
PS4 Pro should have an advantage. No point in giving the devs the extra power if you won't let them use it. There aren't any issues on PC where there are tons of different builds offering varying resolutions and frame rates.
Nothing to apologize for. Sony is at fault for issuing the bans.
Process of dying? It's been a rotting corpse for a couple months now.
Driving drunk and got his friend killed as a result of that. He could've also hurt or killed others. No sympathy for him.
So they "announced" cross play with a now deleted tweet that was quickly replaced with another picture that doesn't show PS4 at all. Sorry guys, but cross play between Xbox and Playstation isn't happening.
Now watch Activision sell it for $60 too...
This new Outlast game is looking pretty good.
I see the merit behind this decision, but it's not like people can't already get advantages over others with things like scuf controllers or just having a really good headset as opposed to someone with a crappy one or no headset at all. Sony should leave it to the devs to decide.
So in regards to 4K gaming; are we talking native or upscaled? I don't recall them definitively saying. They also glossed over the specs of the machine as well. Would've liked for them to go more into it.
Sony confirmed that, at least for them, the current gaming generation model will continue. They stated that Neo is simply meant to "compliment" the PS4.
Don't care much for the game, but 343 is one of the very few devs that do DLC right.
Hopefully whoever buys it will fire all the current staff.
My cousin doesn't like video games either. Can you guys write an article about that too? Seems pretty newsworthy.
