Yeah, the community chose for the hits. Or maybe, just maybe, they liked it.
It was great, esp after the extended cut. I'm glad it's getting some awards, some reactions were absolutely ridiculous.
You still get to choose the dialogue that matters. The fact that Shepard says yes on his own when we used to have a choice between "I agree", "I guess", and "If I have to" doesn't change much if anything to the roleplay experience. To me anyway.
When it comes to dialogue, the only thing that was missing imo was the opportunity to ask questions about the lore like in me1, though maybe it was possible for people who didn't import a save from the pre...

3. Mass Effct 3 is actually one of the best games of 2012, or at least a good game.
"So much just didn't make any sense at all, even before the "icing-on-the-absurdity-c ake" ending. "
Like what ?
It was more of an RPG than ME2 was and it was pretty close to 1 (minus planetary exploration). Just cause the shooting doesn't feel clunky doesn't mean it's not an RPG.
@Cupid_viper
So, your fact is that the PS3 almost managed to catch up with the 6 million lead xbox had 6 years ago ? wow, that's destroying the competition indeed...
Now look back to what the situation was before 2005, when the PS2 outsold xbox by more than 6 million every year. See why I said this is not 2005 anymore ?
Also, I like your theory about people rebuying the 360. You have to admire 360 owners, each of them buys several copies of every...
PS2 ended up selling what ? 6 or 7 times as much as the second most popular console of that generation ? That's domination. Total domination. It lasted the whole generation.
The wii sold fast, but in the end, it sold 1.3 or 1.4 times more consoles, and now it's dead, and the others will end their run not too far behind. In the end, was this generation even "dominated" by anyone ? They all sold sold extremely well.... the next one will probably be the same. ...
This is not 2005 anymore... if this generation proved anything, it's that while the playstation brand is still a powerful one, wii and xbox are too.
PS3 and 360 are still neck to neck, while the PS3 is not much more expensive and the 360 offers less (like no Bluray).
If it doesn't sell much more with same price now, why would it next year ?
Also, consoles should sell based on their own merit, not based on their name.
No they're not. Unless you meant each game is on only one disc. In that case, you're right.
You know you could deactivate the filter, right ?
Even if it were only a slide show, how many developers have made such a move ?
If you want a game that completely ignores every single choice you made even though it promised they would change the outcome dramatically, try the walking dead. It's an excellent game, yet nothing can change. No matter what you do, you'll always have the same ending with the same survivors.
ME3 vanilla ending actually offered a lot more diversity than TWD.
I agree ...
They'll probably reveal the next Dragon Age. I don't think we'll see anything about the next mass effect before the next VGAs (at the earliest).
The sad (or funny ?) thing is that they wouldn't be angry because the player's avatar, the character their kid play, is murdered in "cold-blood", but because of tits.
Ahaha, you said not in order, yet you get 9 disagrees... I wonder if it would be the same if you switched 4 and 5 :D
Don't think so.
Hmmm... no. At least their 5th franchise.
It's pretty close to shadow broker quality wise. Too bad it's more expensive, but it's a pretty good dlc.
You know, even if you had to switch discs every hour, it still wouldn't take as much time as waiting for the install of the next chapter did when MGS4 came out.
You stand by what statement ? that a community award was chosen for the hits ? that's a bit ridiculous...
Or that ME3 wasn't the best RPG ? I'm fine with that. Though that doesn't mean they have no taste just cause they disagree.
