No. people are angry with the missing promises features. Go go look up how Much Sean Murray said would be in the game. Then never disclosed it wasn't and released a game that barely resembled the highly polished trailers.

It's good for playing games like RTS on a couch when you just want to relax. Obviously to not good for competitive play however.

In DOOM each enemy moved completely differently. Some would teleport. Some would charge. Some would run up walls and jump around. Each enemy was very different and they would actually change their behaviour.
If you like classic shooters, gore, no need for a story and fast gameplay then DOOM is for you.
