You can run it on a 970 just fine. I run it on medium 30fps with my 780m. Which is a mobile GPU. You'll be fine.

I felt the same. I already knew what MS was going to show. To be honest I'm getting more reasons to sell my xb1. What with all the exclusives coming to PC aswell. I've got a ps4, PC, Wii U and xb1.
Xb1 S is useless for me. So is the Scorpio. If this continues I won't be buying he Xbox 2 because there will be no point.

21:9 monitors are not expensive unless you go High End.
There is a LARGE group of users that use 21:9 that are now forced to have black bars on the side of the screen. All the people I game with use 21:9 on their pc.
It gives you no advantage. If thats the argument you are going to go with the game should be capped at 30 FPS because those running at 120 have a huge advantage.

I don't like it because it's very lacking in content. It has all the problems other games in its genre has but everyone seems to be ignoring what they bash other games for. The gunplay isn't very good. It doesn't look all that great. There's basically nothing to do but shoot people, which would be fine if the gunplay was actually good.
It feels like a f2p game. Deny it all you want. Tribes ascend is free to play with way more content and satisfying game...
It has no content. It has all the problems every other online only shooter has but it's blizzard so it's instantly great.
I played it. It's very very repetitive. It plays like an old school arena shooter...minus everything that makes arena shooters great. It's a f2p game they're charging for. If it was $30 I wouldn't complain so much but here in Canada at $92 after taxes for a game this barebones is absolutely absurd.

Besides. You can make your own co op and SINGLEPLAYER missions anyway. It's not bad multiplayer it's just not superb.
