agree, i had the same feelings about this game, haven't finished even the first DVD though, but i'm not in the right mood to continue, because there are far better JRPG games for me to concentrate now, like Dragon Quest Monsters Joker on the DS - that game is da bomb i tell ya.
MS will have to put a lot of money in the marketing/bribing strategy again if these sales will continue like this...
wow it only needs a new Slim redesign and i will buy my second PS3 :)
would be nice, if the player could remove certain bodyparts with the chainsaw just for the fun to look at the enemies/other players running without a hand etc. ;)
definitely, we will see a lot of butt kissing in 2008 from the developers too.
couldn't agree more, my PS3 version is just laying on my table, because without that patch i won't even think about playing online.
the average brain of a casual Nintendo fanboy...
played it last week for about 4-5 hours, the loading times are horribly long, like about 20 seconds each time you enter a new area or even if a cutscene is played in the same area it just had to load again... on the gameplay side it is really just another mediocre JRPG, but i liked the thing, that in every hideout like trashcans etc. is a item and not like in other jrpg games, where in 1 of 5 objects is a item hidden.
so i guess i'm lucky, because i'm in the game industry, so my hobby is my work :p
history will repeat itself... again :) but probably it won't be so massive like with the PS2.
yeah me too, i have both xbox360 and PS3 versions of the game and i am only playing it on the xbox360, because on the PS3 it is almost impossible to get connected (no, i am not enjoying the 3-5 minutes waiting at the "setting up game...").
i am taking all the comments from devs (or more likely from lying PR managers) very sceptical nowadays concerning what is ingame when showing the game in very early stages... btw. i am more interested in the nextgen Dragon Quests games, because i like the oldschool turnbase style and i think the new "lets make it more action like" is what the FF series will destroy for the oldschool RPG gamers like i am :( therefor DQ is the new FF for me :) btw. i liked FF8 and 9 the most.
well it could be, because there is no background, only one character rendered ;)
hmmm it gets really boring now, when they repeatedly show the same pics, that are most probably from prerendered videos, and btw. i am a FF fan... hopefully they will show some ingame screens in the near future.
people should keep one blank HDDVD somewhere, because in a near future, it will be a very rare item :)
btw. now give us the precious LOTR trilogy on BD, or i will get very angry and will buy 10 HDDVD players... together for like 100$ ;)
you sound like Dr.Evil from Austin Powers :)
lol good one :)
a funnier version of the song - http://www.youtube.com/watc...
probably something you won't be able to run with 30fps till next gen hardware comes out :)
thx and bubble back, btw. DQ Joker plays like the pokemon games, but far better, more options and also with really good 3d graphics, and the music is very catchy. :)
