Sony has long invested in its first-party studios, and it's been paying off big for them with PS3.

There'll be even greater rewards with PS4.

And over 1 million gamers have already preordered PS4.

The PlayStation Era is back, people.

No, it's not.

Many reasons. Chief among them is because of Sony's dedication to gamers. Something Microsoft is only now realizing after it tried to screw gamers over with all sorts of stiff DRM policies.

But more than that, Sony has proven over the years, with exclusive after exclusive, free game after free game, that it's completely dedicated to the games medium, and I trust them to continually bring new experiences to the forefront.

Microsoft on the other hand is...

It's one of many. Add to that a more powerful console, greater and more exclusives - a better eco-system and you have a system that's bringing gaming back into its glory days.

Here we go with the TV TV TV TV TV thing again. You are starting to do well by showing games, MS. Stick to that, and when you're established, talk about TV.

I don't need Xbox One controlling my Home Entertainment System.

I know there's a lot of "hate" towards call of duty, but those are impressive, very impressive numbers.

Good optimization, and they'll get there. PS4 has the goods.

Let's wait for Sony before opinions start flying around like wild dots!

FIFA 14 in Europe. But you could buy PS4 and FIFA, and still save money as compared to the Xbox One/FIFA 14 Bundle.

PS4 + Fifa 14 = £390
Xb1 + Fifa 14 = £430

No, Sony had its master plan all along. Show your games first because you're selling a videogames console.

After that, play your other cards.

Now this is how you do it. PS4 is a games console, so when you reveal the machine, you focus primarily on videogames.

When the gamer's are already in your corner, you talk about the "extras" of the console. Such includes TV stuff, Netflix, Hulu and other apps.

Sony gets it. Microsoft on the other hand reveals Xbox in May, and all the company could talk about was TV, TV, TV, TV, TV, TV, Dogs, TV, TV, TV.

End result: PS4 dominatin...

Yes. Any day in October makes sense to me! In fact, right now would make sense! October 21st is a Monday: Do it, Sony!

It was a smart move by Sony to make multiplayer gaming part of the PS Plus offering.
