Amen, I use my x1 every day. I have not even had my ps4 hooked up since I beat killzone, it just sits in the closet. I know fanboys hate to hear it but it seems like all of us who own both systems prefer the x1.
As long as I'm playing a good game everything else becomes irrelevant.
Most exciting game has gotta be Halo 5. That thing is gonna be monster. Looking forward to the generations new franchises though.

Actually, if you have a 1080p tv, its always been able to display 1080p. Go to your system settings and under display you'll find the option for 1080p.

Funny the Ryse developers said 900p was their preferred resolution, and a design decision - though I'm sure it only works when a ps4 game chooses a different resolution in your mind. PS4 has proven to be the more powerful console ill give you that. But the Xbox one has also proven it can graphically best its competition as it did with Ryse.

Whomever made these comparisons chose to chop of the sides of 1920x800, rather than draw in the 280p worth of pixels to make a full 1080p frame. You can tell because there character model gets bigger, instead of remaining the same size. Make the game fullscreen. Movies are already stupid with black bars on top and bottom, the gaming industry should not follow suit. I'm sorry, id play the game fullscreen but if you are going to put in some stupid aspect ratio gimmick, I'm not interest...
And the uncharted > god of war > gran Turismo > killzone cycle isn't getting old?
Afterall, if you look into it you'd know the x360 had 500 more games released on it, and more games sold per console.

Really its just not important. It's not like putting the minimum specs on the box for a PC game. I believe this appeared on Xbox/PS2 and went through to 360/PS3 (I think I don't really recall, never had a reason to look) Just trivial crap that never existed and was born when HD came about. Now that is widespread HD is standard so there isn't any point in listing a games resolution. Why don't PS4 games list the FPS? Or the anti-alaising it is using? Or texture quality? Draw ...
