Kratos reveal was awesome! Very much looking forward to seeing how the new-look God of War works out. I still think Horizon might be my pick though.
Played the original on Vita so I'll definitely pick this one up. Looks beautiful on PS4 hardware.
Even thought I'm not a multiplayer guy, the multiplayer trailer for Titanfall 2 actually looked awesome.. Better than the singeplayer content that we were all looking forward to.
I'm not really a Zelda guy but I have to say that Breath of Wild has my interest piqued. It looks very interesting - hope the world is a little more fleshed out though.
Of all the VR devices, Sony's offering is best suited for the mainstream and certainly most likely to make VR a viable entertainment system.
Is it running on Frostbite? I've always enjoyed NHL games - the pace of gameplay is superb. It's up there with FIFA imo.
What a superb entrance to the show! "I'm back!" Brilliant. Game looks like an interesting premise, but don't expect to see anything until 2019 :P
Skyrim Remaster is likely to be a big cashcow for Bethesda. Makes perfect sense. Plenty of people still buying it today on PC and the previous console generation, so the remaster is definitely going to do well.
Do we really need Skyrim or Far Cry as remastered editions? Surely not.. I'd definitely champion Red Dead though, that game is superb and would make sense before the up and coming sequel.
I actually thought Firewatch was mediocre. I enjoyed it, but I felt as though it could have been a lot better. Superhot was excellent, as was Enter the Gungeon.
Seems as though its improved on some aspects of the original but not pushed on quite as much as I'd hoped. Still it is is so unique and I love the atmosphere of Mirrors Edge. Definitely going to get this one.
Moba games are massive now. They're a lot of fun for sure, but you have to invest time into learning their systems. I think for a lot of casual gamers it's too hard core. Amazing fun when played with friends though. Gank Gank Gank!
No surprises here. UC4 an absolutely brilliant game! Not often the final chapter of a series is is best. Can't wait for TLOU2 now :)
I'd say so. I personally struggle with games where the main protagonist doesn't have any lines.. I felt like Dishonored would have been better if Corvo spoke. I think Deus Ex excelled because Jensen was a bad ass.. so yep, giving Gordon a personality would have probably added something. Mind you, half life is a mysterious sort of title, so at the same time theres some cryptic about Gordons silence.
I'd definitely add Dead Don't ride or whatever Sony Bends new IP ends up being called to the list. Big anticipation there..
Better have a decent single player campaign.. That's never been Battlefields strong suit.
So called "whales" who support micro transactions mean that a coordinated strike against publishers is really difficult. For every 100 people that don't spend $1 on content, there is one person who is probably prepared to spend $100.
Ultimately, micro transactions are here to stay and it's upto the consumers to make their voices heard as best as they can, and hopefully that will mean a less obvious and obnoxious use of micro transactions for players.
I really miss the golden Era of RTS. Company of Heroes is still one of my all time favourite games, but eve before that games like Rise of Nations and Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds were ace. MOBA has definitely shifted popularity away from those sorts of games.
Probably the most exciting new IP from Microsoft. Love Inafune - this looks better than Mighty No.9 :p
