Looks very interesting!
I'm worried by the amount of quicktime events im seeing in trailers.. Glad to hear the narrative is on point though. I still think Telltale need a new game engine.
Agreed. Super divisive game. I loved it but so many people took issue with fetch quests. It was a long campaign but if you're into Alien lore then it was superb.
Nice list! Can't argue with LC as top dog.
Wow, looks like a blast. I'll definitely check this one out.
Good to see they are supporting the game with a longterm DLC plan. I'll wait for more details as it doesn't seem as though it's moved the game on too much, but happy to hear it's offering at least some new features.
The visuals are superb in second son. I really enjoyed the traversal and combat but the characters and story were meh.
Agree. Can't stand the like. Far too many trying to earn money than contribute creative content. Sad.
I missed the DBZ craze but even still this looks great... really appreciate the art style.
I wonder how long this will last..? The gameplay looks average to me but people do love their grindy mobile games, especially when the subject is Pokémon.
Absolutely agree. Love the art direction of several up and coming Sony titles. You have to say The Last Guardian has an artistic aesthetic that you just don't see in other adventure games. No Man's Sky also, albeit a totally different toNE.
Lego games never cease to impress me. I jumped into one a while back not fully realising it would be as good as it was. Looks like the quality continues here.
Games just need to get more inventive, that's the bottom line. We've seen too many fantasy RPGs, and although the post apocalyptic premise has been done before, I love the beyond apocalyptic scenario for Horizon. Happy to wait until 2017 for them to get it right!
I'm definitely interested in Breath of the Wild, even though I'm not normally a Zelda guy. My concern is that the open world did look a little empty. I guess we only saw a snippet of the map, but considering its running on Wii U hardware, you'd have to assume the game isnt going to be as dense as the western RPG's that its based on.
Sony. Games matter more at this stage. Scorpio look slick but the future of PS4 still looks brighter imo.
Zelda definitely up there, I'd have put a vote in for Horizon though. I guess Zelda has the impact for its big reveal!
They turned the AI off deliberately to demo the game.
I think it has potential. The zombie fad is still alive and kicking so I'd say this will still sell well. Apparently the "freakers" aren't actually true zombies and still have lucid thoughts... that could add an extra dimension. Also, the motorbike is supposed to be at the center of game play.
Mafia 3's booth looked absurdly big and certainly very impressive. You can't really beat how all-out Nintendo went with Zelda's booth though... They literally brought Hyrule with them!
Probably my favorite game of all time! Such a game changer.. definitely still holds up. I enjoyed Twin Snakes on GameCube also.
It's a slick looking device. I love that they've managed to include the power brick inside the console, that's a big improvement on its own. Certainly worth it if you're in the market for an Xbox One, though if you've already got the standard console you might be better off waiting for Scorpio.
