Sometimes horrible things can be funny.
This is one of those times.
I think they already shut it down.
I'm not going to log in to confirm. :P
Fair point.
If you run paypal on steam, you can log into your paypal account and detach steam.
Short of that, nothing.
But to be clear, this error doesn't let other log into your account. They see a cached copy of your account page, that's it. It's bad, don't get me wrong, but people won't be buying stuff on your account.
My time with Metal Gear's been great. But sadly, the series is no more.
Otsukare sama deshita, Kojima-san.
Pretty sure my wife would actually enjoy playing this game.
Yeah, it says 29% off but I don't see a discount at all.
The initial announcement for vague, which was unfortunate and worrisome.
But now that we have more detail and the reasoning behind it, I don't mind. It seems like a reasonable approach.
Yeah...I was psyched after the gameplay trailer. Now I'm just afraid. Quite the change in 24 hours.
This is why I'm not intrinsically opposed to a multi-part format. If they're going about this rationally, and that's the best option for them, then I support it. Better this than no game.
But there's a lot of conditionals there.
Yeah, I'm with you. My hype has dwindled because now I'm nervous. The reveal trailer was perfect and I had no complaints about the gameplay reveal - I like the new combat, voices, look, and in general everything. This is the first hiccup, so it came as a shock.
Yeah, this announcement was a massive screw up. They can't drop a vague description like this and expect us not to freak out. They didn't say "episodic", but rather "multi-part". There's at least two reasonable, positive interpretations of that.
1) They're trying to replicate the original division of the game across three discs with the intent of packing as much as possible into each disc.
2) They plan to include additiona...
THIS is how to kill the hype for a game.
I'm really really really looking forward to this game, but man oh man does it feel like it's becoming a tradition that a new NMS video comes at every conference. I watch these events and think "OK, here's the next iteration of the same video..."
They have a right to complain, a right to criticize, a right to plead with developers to develop certain types of game, and a right to boycott games they don't like.
The only thing they don't have a right to do is use the force of law to prevent others accessing the games they want. But to my knowledge, they've never tried that. Yet.
Game developers worry about them too much. So to non-SJW gamers. So long as they don't co-opt the law, they ca...
Totally agree, @cyphertech
I saw a difference. The LR option seems more realistic than some of the others.
Ah, memories. :P
So...they offer a product, you refuse to buy it, but they're to blame for "milking" dlc.
I agree with the article entirely. Gameplay was a joke. I haven't played a more difficult-to-control game in the past five years.
