Yes of course the PC version looks better, but a thousand dollar difference better? Come on now.
It is not just the jacket, but the beard, hair, and lighting effects are so much better on the PS4 that it is blatantly obvious. Pause the video at 1:34 and you will see what I mean.
Question is will next generation GTX 1080 even be able to achieve 4k at 60fps? Perhaps with certain games it will but higher performance games you will have to wait for the generation after pascal so Nvidia can scrub more money off of you.
Killzone 4 on VR along with PS4 re-release of KZ2 and KZ3 with upgraded graphics and 60FPS. Oh yeah!

1. The quality of graphics is no where near to the extent of current gen systems.
2. You are talking nearly twice the amount for an Iphone 6 over a PS4.
3. For being PSVita level graphics which costs 2/3's less than an Iphone 6 it still would be considered overpriced solely as a gaming machine.
4. Iphone 6 is overpriced regardless as it just the same rehashed IOs with a tiny bit better hardware upgrade and a couple new features... Whoopdi...

So not to be too critical of AMD but Sony and Microsoft shouldn't stick with the AMD franchise if they want to stay ahead of the game in terms of hardware. While AMD makes decent processors they have stuck with the same architecture in the FX series CPU. The new and improved 9370 was just an overclocked 8350 which is an overclocked 8320 which while boosts performance also produces more heat and requires more energy to run.

Fairly true. The PS2/Xbox lasted about 5 - 6 years and the PS3/360 lasted an astounding 7 - 8 years. The lifespan on a decent PC is usually around 4 - 5 years if you want to play it safe and consoles shouldn't try to get too far behind like they did last gen which caused their graphics and physics to be abysmal compared to the PC counterpart which was bringing ports down.
