Not sure why so many disagrees.
People all he's saying is that us every X1 exclusive drops on PC, he won't bother gettingn the console. Seems reasonable to me...
I disagree, it seems to me that the 50's era cold war america vibe is key to fallout's identity.
I've seen this pattern emerge. MS wants to make big bets on games they feel are AAA blockbusters. Like how Disney only makes 4 kinds of movies: Star Wars, Marvel, Animated Princess, and Pixar... it's safe but it's predictable.
Meanwhile Sony makes crazy bets on weird stuff like Journey, Tokyo Jungle, Heavy Rain, LBP, ect.
MS probably has the smarter business plan, but as a consumer I love Sony's offerings.
Another big exclusive comes out a month later. I'd say that's "soon."
Lemme start by saying I love my PS4...
What I don't love are fanboys who make giant lists of games. No offense, but many of those are waaaay off. 2016 at best.
I've always assumed that Sony was slow to deliver DNLA for pirating reasons. Of all the files people stream over DNLA, how many are legally acquired?
Why would Sony, with major stakes in film/tv ship millions of devices that make it more convenient to enjoy free (stolen) movies and tv shows?
Instead, they are trying to steer people towards legal services like Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, PSN, ect.
Like Digital Raptor said, most of my favorite games are single player only. Legend of Zelda, Mario 64, Skyrim, Fable, Kotor, Bioshock 1, Metroid Prime, Pikmin, Shadows of the Colossus, hell even Shadows of Mordor last year.
Cramming some generic online play into a game is never a good thing, but they do it more and more these days to satisfy guys like you.
I didn't trade my Super Mario 3 in after I beat it the first weekend. I re-played it many many ti...
MS strategy seems to be: win 2 months every year.
They get to thump their chest and crow about "winning" Christmas, but I'd say they need to spread some love across the other 10 months.
Why do any of these numbers even matter to you, and why do they fill you with so much pride? Are you one of those people who turn everything into a horse race?
This is about as silly as arguing whether Colgate or Crest is the superior toothpaste.
This is supposed to be a gaming site, not an investment seminar, I don't give a shit what anyone's stock is rated.
Firstly, this article is speculation, Sony hasn't announced this.
Secondly, you think this is a ploy? C'mon man... you realize that this has been a megaton bomb in Sony Pictures face? I know lots of people who work on the Sony lot (I'm in entertainment) and trust me, the fallout from these hacks is severe and wide-reaching. This is not a PR stunt. This is a nightmare for them.
Not unless they figure out how to sell 7 million units in one month.
Why would they not bring it to a 15 million plus install base? If their deal has a duration, it's coming to ps4 guaranteed.
I'm also not impressed... by your comment.
I love Shadows of the Colossus, but you think this is ripping it off? You realize Ocarina of time featured open world horse riding 8 years earlier, right?
If you really feel such dislike for this charming preview, maybe Nintendo products just aren't for you.
You don't need them, they don't need you. Everybody's happy.
Watching a horse run while two legendary game devs ham it up and casually slip in another game announcement. That's my kind of boring.
Having seen the E3 StarFox presentation... how the HELL will that transform into a finished, polished game by next year? I mean, full faith in Miyamoto... but damn, that was bare bones even for a tech demo.
Still... AM HYPE!
Yup the cold war between digital and retail. It reminds me of the war between streaming and cable.
Don't take this personally, but everyone... PLEASE stop listing games.
I am so bored with going to comments sections and seeing the same list of 5 ps4/xb1 games rattled off.
Half the games you listed are unannounced. The dude below you is talking about Scalebound... C'mon this is silly!
Btw, amazing 2015 can't wait for !!!
Herpa: Derp
Derp 2
The Derp Collection
Derp Racing: fury road
This, Ryse, and Sunset Overdrive... need a few more exclusive titles before my urge to buy an XB1 reaches critical mass.
"Sorry but that short of a game isn't one of the bests in my mind."
I can beat Legend of Zelda 1 and Super Mario 3 in a few hours... aren't they among the best?
You are confused... Spotie is correct.
