In the early days of PSVR can Sony (temporarily) block games from supporting it if they're not good enough, to prevent bad press when a good launch is so important? E.g. "Turd racer 5000" wants to launch with it and Sony says "Thanks but no thanks, we'll allow it in a few months though."

Even the real world can make you feel weird (temporarily), I rarely go to the beach but when I did I used a body board for many hours straight, when I got home I felt like I was still moving in the ocean.

I'll be ready with ginger pills (the edible root), dramamine (or whatever 'simulator sickness' med they recommend) just in case. I adapt by the next day so it's not a big deal for me or anyone else to take something for a short time.

Does PSVR somehow see your facial expressions or are they just shown based on something like your actions in the game?

Yeah the next BF must support it, heli piloting and road killing will be so much better. I assume they can release an updated VR version of the new mirrors edge, if not I'll pick it up cheap since they wasted a great opportunity.

I'd forgotten about Street Luge that looks fun.

Yet another unimaginative slob calling VR a gimmick. Go crawl back to whatever shock radio show you came from. PSVR is the future, like it or not. Old fashioned games won't be held back, I still play some games that are decades old.

"It could be a fad on the same level as 3D"

It still makes me laugh when clowns say things like that. When done right, 3D games and movies can be amazing. BTW VR is in 3D :). I know it's just AWFUL when game experiences are more like ones in the real world.

Sony has already won. You can inflate prices all you want and try to feel superior but it's all delusion.

Paper tigers, I'm really disappointed in the "quality" of alternative VRs. If I'm spending that much money I want something much better than PSVR.

PSVR's great price should encourage the greedy oculus folks to lower theirs eventually. Sony is leading the way with VR, the masses will flock to it and it'll encourage other VR companies to make better products that are actually worth spending much more money on.

It's one of the first games I'm getting for PSVR, so many hours of entertainment from user content (games, vids, etc) and all the stuff you can create yourself.

People should try it, and bring a wipe just in case your state has the "super lice" I've heard about on the news.

Once enough people experience PSVR the people that badmouth it (esp considering the price and being made for consoles) will be seen as the fools or trolls that they are.

As rich as facebook is I'm disappointed in their price, especially considering the questionable video quality (screen door etc) and uncomfortable appearance. If I'm going to buy the best I'm not going to spend tons of money to get something that's only slightly better than PSVR. Thankfully with PSVR I'll have all the time in the world to wait until a better quality product is available.

What I typed could be taken more than one way, you chose the path of drama :). Whoever is making these things there are plenty of them so I wouldn't worry about supply, especially when they want to get off to a great start with PSVR.

Long story short I've seen reviews saying interaction with guns etc in PSVR feels natural. And it may get even better if that glove patent isn't BS.

You can but it'll be like having VR when you're paralyzed.

Internet expert here, I was right about the PSVR price so I'll say $499 for the bundle including cam, 2 moves, and 1 full game.

Even the homeless have signs that say "Will work for food" so these whiners should start working if they want PSVR instead of trying to drag everyone else down into their pit of despair.

I'm glad they said $399. Console folks can be really stubborn so anything above $400 would've been a major turnoff and really hurt the adoption rate. Sony did what they had to, and good for them, now a lot more people will buy it and we'll continue to get even more great games, and have a relatively cheap but good quality experience. Greatness awaits (had to throw that in for the butthurt people).
