I assume EA is just trying to steal some of the CoD drones to make more money. Are CoD people ok with spending $110 for BF premium?
Yeah and their word fights will lure some of the CoD kids and 'zombies' to look at BF5 and see how much better it looks (and how there's a lot more to BF compared to CoD). I assume their PR folks and EA's profilers put them up to this.

After how awful their last SP was they should just drop it and focus on MP and fixing all the bugs their new things like "levolution" create.
Hopefully they fixed that garbage where you fall out of a car if you drive through a few feet of water, and that extreme slowdown when you transition into water in tanks (done to prevent the stupid "driving fast underwater in the pond" bug). I know the game will be fun eventually, but it's unwise to get all hyp...

Then only give 1 or 2 wins before it automatically stops giving wins to you from that quitter friend, and on the third(+) match with a stranger quitter it warns you and gives you the option to not play with them or gives you the option to never be matched with them forever or for a month or whatever.

Pay to win? In multiplayer games you'll have better draw distances and smoother action, clearer views of enemies, etc. Fear of being a "poor noob getting pwned" will drive sales. "Equality" is one of the main reasons I switched to console, so depending on how this turns out I may just go back to PC, I like the mods, better controls, etc anyway.
It'll be interesting to see what they made but I'll never forget how broken and bug filled BF3 and 4 were for so long, the awful team balancing (that still exists today), the premium weapons etc thrown in the faces of the regular players and maps dividing the player base, the OP jet that basically forced you to get into a boring jet yourself or let them go 100 and 0, etc.
What's next from EA, will premium users get exclusive vehicles to use on everyone else? I ...

I hope someone draws a fat version of cyber-gal and has hidden donuts, cola, snacks, etc come out of her body instead of blades ;).
They need to publicly apologize and explain why what they said was wrong, then I might consider buying a game from them. If they can make a good one.
