What a shame that today's console gamers have forgotten all about free unlockables. Yes game developers need to make money but why not offer free unlockables with the option of DLC for those that do not want to complete the game challenges. But no today is company first screw the consumer who cares

I will give Sony credit for having visually impressive exclusive games. The majority of visually impressive games on PC come from multiplatform games not exclusives 😭. Once The Forest, Star Citizen, Escape from Tarkov, Quake Champions release believe me gamers will go damn those are some good looking exclusive PC games
Nope more like $600.00 to $800.00 dollars. Also a true premium experience would be a modable game with map editor, free online, able to play with either gamepad or kb and m , 4K 60 frames per second. Like Fallout 4.
People bought the PS4 for its exclusives that is all. Today's games lack serious amount of content which can only be accessed through DLC. The PS4 Pro and Xbox One struggle to run Kerbal Space Program why because the hardware is not there and the game has more videogame content at once that consoles can handle. Not really, mid range PCs with 8-16gbs of DDR4 RAM, any Skylake CPU and any NVIDIA GTX 900-1000 series outperform the Xbox One X. If my gaming setup:
NVIDIA GTX 480
AMD Phenom 2
4gb of DDR2 RAM
was capable of playing today's games at native 1080p 45 frames per second mid settings with physix enable what would a current PC offer. That is right better performance than any console ever made.
One the Xbox One X needs the AMD Rysen and the AMD RX580, if it wants to shorten the distance between console and PC or it buys off game developers to limit the game from utilizing PC features. Personally, Microsoft abandons the console hardware altogether in favor of Xbox Game Pass.
They refinance their home not lost it; however, they quit their jobs to make this game so hopefully it does pay off.

The problem is if say game comes to Steam that means Valve is getting 30% percent profit from the game with the game developer taking 70% profit Microsoft nothing.

It is subjective for reason one price really is only $100.00 more and the gamer gets native 4k 30 frames per second better than pseudo 4K. Reason 2 exclusives which Sony actually has by not sharing it with PC. That's only good reason but if the gamer doesn't want to buy a PC to play Cuphead he/she will get an Xbox One X. Terrible article, the only reason to get a PS4 Pro over Xbox One X is Sony's exclusive games. If you want crossplay go with the Xbox One X or better yet a gaming PC.
I do agree with the article but Star Wars Battlefront does need a story for its Star Wars. Many epic tales can be made or explored within the Star Wars Universe.
That was the only time that both the gaming media and console gamers fought back. In contrast the gaming media was in favor of paid mods but pc gamers still fought back. That is the difference.

The consoles of today are not as convenient as before. The consoles of the past was put the game and start playing the game there were no EULAS, License Agreements, or putting the game on a hard drive. There were no need for updates (useless) or patches (extremely useful) in console games. There were no microtransanctions/dlc either instead it was cheat codes, map editors, free unlockables. Nintendo only offers nostalgia its gaming franchises goes back to the eighties and xbox gave up on exclusives. I agree Sony is the only one that brings blockbuster exclusives and its only competitor is truly the PC. The advantage to PC is its ability to bring all genres in gaming better than consoles. Glad I bought this game during the Steam Summer Sale for $15.00. Every time a game comes to consoles the price goes up. Ironically PC exclusives are sold cheaper like $20-40 dollars. If this game were exclusive to PC it would only cost $40.00. Is this game ready for launch?
