It's much simpler than that - it's because the game is probably a mediocre experience. Live with that.
Fanboys will be fanboys. They only accept nine's and ten's. Anything below is reviewer's fault!
If Dying Light running at 60 FPS is "absolutely doable", then moreover games like Assassin's Creed IV, Destiny, The Evil Within or Yakuza: Ishin, should all accomplish that. Hell, even Metal Gear Solid V, an open world game with really impressive visuals, zeroes in on 60 FPS.
Man, this ain't no GTA, nor Saints Row. Flying vehicles wouldn't fit into the concept.
He doesn't live in a cave - he most probably knows which game came out first. He's just playing with you, PS fanboys.
Lukas - if I recall right, a couple of launch games for PS3/X360 were also running at 60 FPS. Killzone doesn't imply anything.
I hope they really mean it, especially for the AAA releases. After spending a long while with the 60 FPS, 30 FPS seems almost choppy to me!
Statix, but the news is entitled "the best looking console game", not "the best looking console game with the biggest open world at the same time" or "the best looking console game with a super advanced AI to that". Ryse might have PSX-level physics, the lack of AI, small locations or terrible gameplay, but it doesn't change the fact it's a very good candidate for the title of "the best looking console game".
Can't quite understand the whole chaos around the 1080p. Grand Theft Auto V is at 720p, and it looks absolutely sharp and gorgeous. I'd rather have 720p but 60 FPS, than 1080p and 30 FPS.
So many PlayStation fanboys, so many disagrees on Ryse's graphics... Welcome to N4G!
Say what you want about Microsoft and Xbox One, but this game is absolutely the best looking game of the next-gen, in the technical terms.
Such a shame it probably won't appear neither on PS4, nor PC.
The PS4 version was announced simultaneously with the PS3 version. Why did you even start playing the current-gen version? Just wondering. You have a blocked access to Wikipedia?
I'd be thoroughly disgruntled if the next generation consoles, whether that's PS4 or XONE, wouldn't be able to run Diablo III in 1080p60. I'm actually startled that such titles as Assassin's Creed IV, WATCH_DOGS, Destiny or The Evil Within are set to run in 30 FPS.
I don't need the camera. You want to know what I need for the upcoming generation? 60 FPS. Period.
I bet all Snake thinks about when he's a day off, is to put his solid snake into Paz's inner heaven.
"Awe" - three letters.
Half-Life 3 confirmed.
Fanboys being fanboys, I reckon.
From the Eurogamer article: "The 360 does command a minor advantage in frame-rate during synchronised play".
But I guess it's easier to simply bash my post, all because I'm stating a fact that's denying the advantage of a PlayStation console. Right?
Except that GTA V performs better on Xbox 360.
sigfredod, it amazes me how easy you are to get fucked in the ass by Blizzard. They release the same game for the third time in a row and you buy it so easily for the full price!
