Yes, yes it is indeed rather subjective, hence why these type of articles are silly and should not be written.
Most of the reasons mentioned are silly.
You buy a Switch when you want to play the Nintendo games, you buy a PS4 when you want Sony games and all the other big 3rd party games.
It's why I have both...
Yeah and since I still prefer to play on my TV I rather buy those Indies for the PS4.
I've only used the Switch in portable mode for real (besides to test) once, when I was in hospital for several weeks last year, only time I was happy that it supports that!
I have about that number currently for my Switch I think, but my PS4 library goes into the triple digits....
The reasons they list are all nonsense except one: that you can play on the go.
The rest is about all the different ways you can use the controller, that it has better rumble, has cheaper online, better for parties, etc., etc. Oh and there's one about it having exclusive games you can't play anywhere else, but that's also true for the PS4 exclus...
@SPTMN
LOL, sure buddy, sure, that's like saying all Nintendo games have the same kiddy look!
PS. I love my Switch and Nintendo games, also love my PS4, but don't say nonsense!
I love my Switch and the Nintendo games I have for it, it's the reason I got it, but I don't actually agree with what you said...
Wow, quite reaching isn't it? And some are all about the controller and playing on the go, the one about the exclusives is true but same goes for the PS4 exclusives, etc., etc.
All in all I think it's best to own them both :)
@obscure
Ehh, no, don't think the One X is more appealing if you've never owned an X1 before. If people buy an X1 now and already own a PS4, it's because they want to play exclusives and let's face it there aren't enough to warrant the price of the One X when a One S is more than sufficient for that. Someone heavily invested in PS4 isn't suddenly going to change preferred platforms, their friends won't go with and their trophies and all their bou...
At the moment, no, but I was talking about a possible solution of physical boxes being sold by any type of retailers with a code inside it...
"a shit ton of stuff missing."
Bwahahahaha, sure
BS, the PS4 didn't have any specific design traits made for VR why would the PS5 be any different? They might include a chip or 2 to handle the stuff that little box with PSVR handles now *if* they can do it cheaply enough as to not impact the price of the console otherwise PSVR2 will have another extra box to connect.
And VR is massively fun, and of course that depends on the game. You just sound like a silly person who doesn't like change or never tried it or did ...
Yes, and it will.
No. End of.
Too many places in the world with atrocious internet speeds, plus physical still has many benefits that people like over digital. I prefer physical for several reasons like having something physical, to receive something in the mail and unpack it, to store it somewhere, to physically collect something, etc. Others might like the idea of selling their physical copies. I also really, really like the fact that new games go for around €50-55 physical and digital the...
"where does $15 come into play?"
That a mere month ago it was $15 and would contain the exact same content as it will be now (or next week)?
Oddly enough, on Steam here in EU it's €54.99 and on the EU PSN store it's €39.99 (which is about $46 and INCLUDES VAT!)
Edit: and in the EU Xbox store it's €49.99
These prices are weird!
No it will not...
This article has either been submitted or approved way too late since the maintenance happened almost 13 hours ago...
Yes it is...
But Xbox never had it before...
Which is very surprising since only a few months ago it was like $15 I believe...
@Ju
Wasn't that 4.5?
Yup it was, I googled...
Ehmm, what? It didn't sound exciting at all and it's even less exciting than that? Yikes!
But crowdfunding is investing in the project, getting something in return is only a reward for helping to make the project become a reality, you're not actually buying anything. That's also the risk you take with Kickstarter, if there's nothing coming out of it you just lost your money, it was investment which contains some form of risk and you lost your money. Nothing to be done about that unless they want to completely ban that sorta thing...
7. and not even entirely correct either, if I want to play Fortnite I want to play the original Fortnite that was released over a year ago: Save the World, and that doesn't even run on the Switch!
Once that does I will worry about not being able to use my account on the Switch! Besides, I rarely ever use it away from my TV anyways so it's not being missed.
