Many games: Forza, Gears, Halo :)
"Ubisoft also reported that Xbox users spend more money on their games."
Okay, cool, how much more tho?
"They earn more money on Xbox then on PlayStation."
Ehh, no, they sell a heck of a lot more of their games on PlayStation so they earn more money on PlayStation. Don't confuse the 2 things!
The first is that Xbox players spend more money PER game, you know, DLC, microtransactions, that sorta ...
Splatoon 2, Mario Rabbids and Mario Kart released last year.
I love my Switch but the amount of exclusives isn't more than on PS4...
Ah yes, let's compare the game running on PC to a PS4 game! So fair!
Now do the same with the X1 version please!
Ohh, so it's now fair to compare a game that runs on PC and/or One X with improvements over the regular X1 to a game that runs on a stock PS4??????????
Shall we compare how FH3 and FH4 looks on the X1/X1S to DC on PS4 then?
@krib
You barely played DriveClub according to your trophies...
@matpan
He can have his own opinions, the problem lies in the simple fact tho that both Sony's first party games and FH4 have beautiful realistic looking graphics, claiming one is good looking and the other loses to BOTW is down-right silly...
Yikes. When I read stuff like this I always wonder what happened to the kid to do such a thing :(
That whole bit with "this is where the app comes in" is still nonsense tho. PS4 and X1 allow one to talk to only people you know. In fact, it's the only voice chat I do, I'm not going to talk to people I don't know...
With cross progression? nothing.
With cross-buy of skins and battlepasses? money.
With a game like Fortnite progression is bound to the Battlepass which has been bought somewhere.
Thing is tho that MS and Nintendo aren't too keen on cross-buy either and will do everything they can to prevent such things, yet Fortnite is an exception for them, why? One can only guess....
@skull
1) if Sony players only play SP games why on earth do you and all the other Xbox fans want cross-play with PS4 so much?
2) back in the real world tho you will see that PS4 has always more active players in MP games, go check some sites and you will see!
FYI, just checked the BF1 stats, 23k on PS4 at the moment, 10k on X1, an oldie BF4: 2.6k on PS3, 440 on X360, 3.8k on X1 and 9k on PS4. Even BF Hardline has double the numbers.
Does the writer love their significant other? I doubt (s)he owns him/her!
There's a new experimental patch on PC which will be released next week on consoles and seems to actually solve most issues. The unscannable last creature on a planet for instance turned out to be the damn sentinels!
Also the terrain regeneration is apparently finally solved by using a new save system for it (there was a limit).
Sadly I've gotten bored again already so it needs a way bigger update again for me to return for more than to fiddle a b...
@krib
They could've created a Mojang or Minecraft account and not try to shove a competing platform's network down Sony's and Nintendo's throat...
"I'm saying PSVR 1 won't be supported on PS5"
Well, you don't know that. If the PS5 is fully backwards compatible software wise with the PS4 then it shouldn't be too much work for Sony to make sure PSVR(1) will work on PS5 as well.
If you think about it that would be the wisest thing ever. PSVR2 will release, am sure of it, but I doubt it will release at the same time as the PS5 as not many people will have money (or are willing)...
What is "full VR"?
What you wrote sounds weird, if VR doesn't have a future it won't ever be ready for 'prime time'...
How I see things is that the current VR devices are just the ones laying the groundwork for what we will be using in the future, it probably will work in a completely different way but still give the feeling of being inside the game world and where you can look around by moving our head and we still call it VR.
And many decades later it is s...
Lots of people here seem to not really read, not even the headline!
Nothing in there says that the consoles will be always online, this guy just says he's expecting the new consoles to have more features that expand connectivity. Ie. if a game wants to do more with online stuff they can, but also the console OS itself might do more.
The consoles right now already have quite a bit of connectivity stuff build in, you can post to Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, follo...
@stupidusername
The Netherlands has probably way better internet than the US too tho and am sure more EU countries do...
"I think"
Indeed, it's an idea you have that you can't actually back up with any evidence whatsoever...
