On Ps5 it was a delight.
Honestly I was a bit disappointed by the graphics in this state of play, especially the in game character models. Made my hype drop somewhat.

12 literally you don't have to push any button, you just set up 2-3 gambits and walk around to kill 90% of the enemies

There's level scaling though. I played on hard, finished the game yesterday. Combat never got boring and felt satisfying. It's all just opinions.
Funny, while I don't think any of the pre FFxii games were average I do feel some are massively overhyped for what they are.
It might be difficult to believe but outside of the US people don't think and ponder that much about race and such things.

Nothing wrong about this cartoon.
I like the loot system, makes sense in a game where you can customize and create your own character. Apart from the merlin trials which can get tedious the side quests are not generic fetch quests and well made.
