I'm tired of these articles. I know fanboys will just be fanboys, but atleast give a product a chance. It's so disgusting to see people who consider themselves gamers to actually want a company to fail.
I hate Sony because of the way their employee's treated me, but I would never wish their company downfall.
Microsoft has produced technology that the others didn't want to pursue because no one had done it before. They didn't know if it would sell and the...
I'll take a big "WTF" ending rather than a "LMFAO THAT WAS SO LAME" ending. :P
Honestly, if you don't understand why this series is popular then why don't you take a look at the huge improvements between AC1 and AC2. :|
@onanie; I never compared the failures between the two, so don't just ASSUME. I merely meant that the PS3 has some pretty nasty errors too.
@CWMR; Thanks. I really wish gamers could accept that nothing can really be done other than to just move on.
@ReBurn; Exactly. When the first signs of errors on the PS3 came out, like YLOD, nothing was done at first, just like Microsoft. But, Sony turned around and made consumers pay for the errors and such. My f...
First off, don't call us idiots. Secondly, calling us idiots and then using, "Xbots"? Oh, how clever you are!
The failure rate was extremely bad, but sometimes it was the gamers fault. They left the Xbox on for too long or played it for too long. Or they left it in a enclosed place with dust or ontop of carpet. But, that still doesn't cover the overall failures.
But, while that is all true, Microsoft fixed the RROD and the fact that RROD are no longer seen ...
I really wish gamers would put the RROD behind them. Companies make mistakes, sometimes they can hurt them really bad or leave a slight mark. Every technology has flaws and sadly the original Xbox 360 had a lot of them, but so did the PS3.
Microsoft, not wanting a lawsuit, put the extended warranty up and did the refurbished consoles. What more could they exactly do?
To go forward, you have to clean up the mess. That's what Microsoft is trying to do and so many selfish, ...
Exactly. A lot of gamers place Sony as the more respectable, well-rounded company, but in reality they aren't. They are just like EVERY other company and like you said, they make mistakes.
How long did you have your Elite? Or really, did you get it with the JasperChipset in it? They did fix the RROD issue :|
Eh, this list is kinda lame, but by reading the article entirely, you can tell it's not really serious.
But, Final Fantasy XIII? Unfairly hated on? That game is just all graphics and plot, no real "gaming" whatsoever.
I was going to say, "You're quick to judge." but then I saw your username.
Microsoft has fixed the RROD and most of the errors on the original Xbox 360's, or are you behind on the "JasperChipset" technology?
Fanboys are just fanboys, I guess.
Why are people saying that this is still to high? If you are going to pay for a console that is $299, then a product that has advanced, expensive, and new technology in it shouldn't be called too expensive for the price they are supposedly selling it for.
I don't like Microsoft all that much, but it's obvious that they are trying to lower the price as low as they CAN. Besides, the move controller costs $50 and then there is the Eyetoy...
N4G is too full of fanbo...
Fanboys just point at E3 and at Microsoft and claim that those are signs as to why Kinect will fail.
Honestly, if you are a real gamer, you would be curious about Kinect. You wouldn't care if a company you hated was making technology that a lot of people are interested in. Kinect is a new experience and just pushing it aside because of what you saw at E3 is really disappointing.
I'm not a fan of Sony at all, I've met some of their employee's and once they fo...
@waltercross; You know, you had a good explanation about why you thought Kinect could be great in another companies hands, but your spelling just ruined it.
I fail to see how Sony, Nintendo, and Apple could make Kinect any better. The Wii does not have any "real" hardcore games that people wanted and that is what people are wanting for Kinect. There is a reason that Sony didn't do a non-control technology, let's not go there. Apple, though they have created a lot o...
@Parapraxis; Only a fool would claim that a company is not panicking. Every game company is panicking at the moment, as it always has been. It's is part of the competition. Go figure.
I said Dildo controller. Nice try.
People who comment on here obviously aren't "watching" their movements. These people don't really know what they are doing. They are just dancing about not even trying. The little kid even falls on the floor.
However, they look like they are having fun. It shouldn't matter if you look like an idiot or not. You play video games for fun. I'd rather be dancing about than shaking a dildo controller. :|
"Point being, I always welcome new feature as long as it doesn't take away existing ones."
Can I get a list of the features the PS3 no longer has, please?
@mrv321; Just because almost every game console has an internet browser, doesn't mean that the 360 should get one. I hate using the internet on my Wii and on my friends PS3's. It's incredibly slow and sometimes it'll freeze.
All of the applications that Live now has like Facebook, Twitter, Zune used to be limited on what you can do. Now, you can do a lot more, but you just can't browse the internet. I like the organized dashboard of Facebook rather than the zoome...
Motion control is a fad? It's funny, when the touchscreen technology started being made, everyone thought that was a fad too. Now look at how big it has become.
I'm not a a hardcore fan of motion control, but I'm interested in it. It's not progress, but a regress? Are you kidding me? It's an advancement in technology AND gaming. I know a lot of people just push all this motion control stuff aside, but to say it's not going to help gaming is just walking blindl...
The only new 360 that has reported of "RROD" was clearly the owners fault. Was placed in a enclosed space and was dusty all in side. And the article didn't state how long the 360 had been on. People shouldn't be talking about that stupid article.
