Honestly, I think atleast one of these games will be hardcore, or something of the nature. Hopefully.
Because even though the connections to do online gaming is player to player, you still have to have a server that does the connection. And that costs money.
@ShinGino
If I don't have to wait an hour for a demo, dlc, theme, or video to download, then I believe it's worth the money. Especially since I use a lot of the features they offer and I'm excited for ESPN.
I realize that a lot of the stuff that XBL offers can be done on PSN, but it's a better setup and better quality.
And what about Sony? They didn't just create PS+ for kicks. A friend told me to look closer, so I did. PS+ will probably turn into a service like XBL.
You may think that MS is just increasing the price, but they've stated that they will continue to improve the services.
@DigitalRaptor; Have you ever seen Xbox LIVE? It's well worth the money, for me anyways. If they rise the price, that most likely means that we are getting new features. Gamers are just supporting them until we see if they do add new features. If they don't, then fine. Rant away.
Do people really think that Microsoft is so stupid as to just raise the price without giving us gamers anything? They know that most of us don't like the pay-to-play deal and that a lot of us don't want Kinect. The article clearly states that they have given us what we pay for and will continue to do so.
Microsoft hasn't said anything about what they are giving us, or if they are.
Microsoft always goes with the masses? You DO realize that Sony chose to do what the Wii does? And that Microsoft chose to NOT do what the Wii does? Stop being blinded by just one little thing and use that to generalize.
@Xino; I don't have two accounts. Shove off.
Just pointing this out, every commercial is corny and fake. Like this one for Move; http://www.youtube.com/watc...
I know this is kind of a fanboy comment, but my friend was filling out the survey and called me telling me how he thought some of the questions implied that PSN Plus might become mandatory .
I highly doubt Move will outsell Kinect. Maybe in some ways Move is better than Kinect and more familiar, but that's the downside. It's more familiar and if gamers already have a Wii, they won't want something like Move which is very similar to Wii. I have a Wii and I really don't want something even having the same idea as it.
If Kinect has problems when it sells, Microsoft will fix it. We all learned that from the RROD (Which that problem is over and dealt with, kid...
Actually, some of us love hearing this. The better the PS3 does, the better the competition.
So, how much money am I going to have to spend on Move if I want more than 1 person to play? Not $60-70.
Crack open the history books and educate ourselves? I did that and bought a 360. (: I don't know what you're talking about.
@bviperz
I would give that video credit if it kept messing up after the guy told the two girls something. Obviously, there was something going on and it was fixed. Tada...
Don't let the cyberpolice backtrace it! :O
Why are people commenting on this article, which shows a companies success, about it really only depends on WHO bought the new 360. Does it really matter that much that you can't count a person who is just replacing a 360? The RROD years are over and should of been for awhile because of 1. The Jasper Chipset and 2. Warranty.
Let Microsoft have their moment of glory. They get so much negative feed back even when they do good? What a pathetic Gamer Generation this is.
That's the bad thing about E3, I guess. I wasn't too impressed by Move by I'm waiting til I use it.
I'm not saying wait for E3. I think E3 is cool and all, but I think it can either hurt a company or improve it. Gamers just need to wait til they get their hands on it themselves.
How much longer do you have to wait? Depends on if you actually care about wanting to try Kinect or not...
Every company hates on other companies, stop putting Microsoft on the spot when everyone does it.5690d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment
Apple has had so many failures or their own. Like the most popular failure: Iphone 4.
Sony and Nintendo as well. If you want to make a list of issues that Microsoft has gone through just to show what a fanboy you are, be my guest.
I'm tired of people hating on Microsoft like they are the absolute worst when Sony, Nintendo, Apple and everyone else are just as bad.
