The problem is that many people don't read the subject matter of the article. I will admit I haven't read it, but I am willing to bet it's your typical yellow journalism titles that has minimal to nothing to do with the actual subject matter. (extremely common practice online)
This being said the problem isn't that the Vita has it, but how developers go about using it. Plenty of games like to use "fancy" features over doing whats best. This was an ex...
its weird to do the opposite, but since its a western cliche it's highly debatable. (in my opinion)
Yeah I think I might...
God knows I could buy them for 134 and use the DLC. From there I can sell off each figure on their own because there are plenty of people out there willing to buy 1 for slightly more than all 4 for less. This is a very common thing with collectors editions.
Most likely come the end ill break even or make back most of what I paid. If I am really lucky I might even make a profit =D
No one but the devs/publishers "need" to, but there are plenty of reasons for anyone to do it. Some of these include the following...
Making a guide (normal or trophy).
Saving you from beating that awful game or unlocking that SUPER EXTREMELY HARD mode.
Showing you what an imported game looks like.
Finally these devices work on anything that it can connect with so it could also be used for TV or anything of the sort all the same.
Yeah cause the following is impossible...
Adult buys a controller.
Kid gets controller.
Kid explains he needs a Dualshock 3 for his PS3.
Adult returns it because it wouldn't work on the PS3.
Store worker writes "won't connect to ps3".
Yeah... totally fake/implausible.
Eh I don't see why this is even a big deal... there are plenty of people that are flatout uninformed about anything. There are plenty of people that think an android keyboard simply works on android, apple for apple products and the HP one for the Touchpad, but they're all just bluetooth keyboards... In the end it was most likely a gift or someone trying to do something nice which people automatically assume was someone informed trying to do this...
Looks cleaner.
Do X thing Y times.
Score 200 at bowling.
Win like 10 fights in survival.
Beat the arcade on hardest.
Win time attack in under 6 minutes.
It is a LOT harder if you lack skills, but even without them it can easily be accomplished in a few hours. 50 people did it in under 3 hours to give you an idea lol
Then you didn't play Tekken Tag lol. It could be done in under an hour with skill and under five without.
Any list that doesnt have Tekken Hybrid (Tag Tourny 1) is doing it wrong... there are people who platinumed it in under 2 hours... (fastest time is like 54 minutes)
sounds neat
You have no conceptualization of marketing do you? Vectorcell is either going to A) Make a new game or B) Go out of business. If they make a new game what they did with Amy is going to haunt them... so the SECOND someone who recalls this sees vectorcell its going to be something like...
Hyped their game an almost laughable amount.
Game got low review scores.
Everyone agrees they can't code.
Didn't fix the problems.
= No buy
@ MAJ0R
Demon/Dark Souls are just an exception... the game got a lot of good press for being "impossible" and before long became a "hardcore" choice. There were plenty of other games that WERE hard and got low scores because of it.
Look at Spelunker HD which is a brutal platformer that requires you to understand the game over rush everything. Mind you this also got the PSN award as best downloadable game in 2009 too...

Let's be fair here... How does this show how messed up or corrupt game journalism is. I don't have the time to look into every topic, but many previews and reviews were done by different people and can hardly affect one another... it just shows two people thought things were different. If you looked into the review scores they all weren't completely awful either. Meristation (5), GamingXP (7.6), there was another site that gave it a 9.2 and 2 metacritic users that gave it 6+... th...
You have to remember that sites work off getting users there and users tend to over react over a "wrong" review score. Case in point Uncharted 3 8/10 score bullshit. People acted like those 2 points were like saying Mindjack was a better game...
On topic. Who trusts a person that pisses on a beta product? Anyways not to get on that point look at it like this using Uncharted 3 as an example
In the first beta it was a FANTASTIC online game which expan...
No.
Well the largest Vita game I've seen was under 3 gb (and wasnt uncharted). So if you think between size lost, high/several games and installs... it might be worth it for the 16 gb.
Diverse opinions happen when you ask various people and honestly how many people want to read a rehashed list anyways?
Demon Souls and Dark Souls arn't too bad at all. a higher percent beat Demon Souls than beat Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 on normal... What makes Demon Souls hard is the requirement of learning from your mistakes. Many people think "oh empty hall I'll rush it" then they get stabbed in the face by a knight then go online to bitch about it.
You have to remember that you can constantly level.
You could always play with other people.
There were several ...
it's additional... so it's whatever your system is worth (based off quality, base trade in, all contents being there, etc) and THEN the 25... you could easily in theory get 75 usd for the 3,000...
