Seems believable.
There was that tweet, the image looks higher quality than your usual fake and it he would certainly be a welcomed addition to the game.
Welcome to the pointless world of "political correct" arguments. The problem is these people don't seem to really understand the concepts of a valid argument. Like boxing / wrestling still exist in the world today, yet they instantly bring the argument to a new setting that doesn't even make sense. Like above all Batman is a vigilante, yet we're instead talking about assault, when it's probably more of a battery situation? How does that make anymore sense than anyth...
Good concept, terrible article.
Since I don't want to get into a rant about the main point, I really don't see why the 5 points were mentioned at the end. Like part of the Aliens problem was due to people expecting quality from Gearbox (since Borderlands 1 / 2 proved to be awesome) and Sega has been known to publish some cool titles. Beyond that, everything else is common sense, with the exception of the review score aspect. I don't know about anyone else, but mos...
"Who approved this garbage"
Sadly N4G forces contributors to approve X articles for Y submissions, which results in a LOT of people just approving whatever. Sure we would have less things approved if this was removed, but garbage like this gets approved because it was probably one of the first 10 articles without a report on the submissions page.
You would have a point if I could play PS3 games on the PS4...
I don't see why anyone would agree with you, there are two incredibly likely answers.
1) They got a review copy from the publisher.
2) Someone broke street date. I got my copy of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate 6 or so days before release from Digital River, which isn't that uncommon either.
The only reason why there isn't a lot of Injustice reviews (or at least I haven't seen them), is the fact the title is probably embargoed. This site eit...
@ GribbleGrunger
Since when did they need a valid reason to justify their actions... I mean they attacked Sony because they removed Other OS in response to someone using it to hack the PS3...
Is the Mechromancer free because it was a preorder bonus? I mean thats pretty much the same logic you're presenting here, since not everyone wants the Season Pass (I mean the DLC so far has been awful), but might the additional levels (for $4.99). In either case, the levels should have been free... period.
I don't see why anyone would be worried about suffering the same fate as All-Stars. The title sold poorly because the marketing for it was awful. The "first" TV spot was really only conceptually linked (many characters aren't playable, way before the announcement, etc) and the second one didn't show any sort of gameplay. It pretty much just released and Sony thought it would instantly sell its self, which didn't happen.
It was probably left behind over cost. Koei has been doing less and less and less in their localization process, so this was no doubt a choice to save some money. God knows these titles don't really sell (since they don't market them).
There is also the midnight event posters, valentines day candies from Liz (press item), hot topic has a few T-Shirts and I believe a few more items.
Why does everyone seem to think that 1 success proves anything?
Demon / Dark Souls selling = Niche games can be successful.
Bioshock selling = People like deep stories.
etc
The thing is, there are games with deep stories that flop (Spec Ops from what I understand) and there are games with deep stories that are beyond popular (Metal Gear Solid). Just like there are niche games that sell (Dark Souls) and there are niche games that just don't...
How can something we know next to nothing about be over rated?
I always thought it was the blessing of negative hype. Basically, similar to how hype can over shoot expectations, negative hype lowers your expectations and you can focus on the more redeeming parts. This is a HUGE reason why you see critically poor titles get some defenders well after release.
The only thing DS proves, is that not everyone is into "hand holding'. There have been several other niche games that became successful, some (not many) even more so than DS, but DS is a unique case...
DS became popular for two key that would be virtually impossible to replicate. The first is that consumers hyped up the difficulty of the title. In the early days it was FAR more likely you knew Demon Souls was almost impossible, than what type of game it was, gameplay...
It would sell worse. The games only sold because people wanted to see what it was all about.
How is that different form now?
The sad reality is that some people (typically fans) come up with whatever crazy logic they want to justify why they're right or wrong. Regardless of what the future holds for the Ouya, they should have planned ahead with reviews in mind. Even if the reviewers reevaluate it with every update, most people will lose interest and move on due to a low opinion of the product.
Its like me and the stuff "hardcore" Borderlands 2 fans were telling me. Namely I should PR...
Yes, but it should be good length too. I know MGR isn't the longest game around, but still 1 hour is pretty bad and hard to justify for the price.
Master of the Wind
Complete DL-Story-01: Jetstream on Revengeance difficulty in one hour or less.

While I can see where you're coming from, I don't see why you praise NetherRealm and shun Capcom...
While I won't defend Capcom on Biohazard 5 (most of the Biohazard 6 things on disc were unknown unlockables / free DLC down the road if I recall correctly), I would say NetherRealm is among the worst.
During MK 9 they released SEVERAL preorder DLC costumes and a special move to go with them, which went on to be paid DLC. ...
