Assuming the Switch version comes to the west that is the version I'll buy.
Too bad it is only the PS3 and 360 versions that are 19.99.

I'm excited for this game. Hopefully it gets a retail release as Wipeout HD was digital only in the states. Would have preferred remakes of the original 3 PS1 games, but this will do.

While it is all well and good that it is coming to other systems, I can't help but wonder if people will be interested in playing a game from several years ago. That said it was a lot of fun.
Short answer: No.
Nintendo won't go bankrupt if the Switch flops. They have enough money to bankroll several failed consoles. Even the Wii U with as much as it didn't sell still ended up being profitable for Nintendo. Just not as much as they hoped.
