His Jupiter-sized midriff, and the fact that he gave both Splatterhouse and LittleBigPlanet 2 the same score. I feel sorry for anyone who holds his word as gospel; so much money wasted on inferior products.
It's up against all the big-league competition; it'll get swamped for sure, like Enslaved did last year. Better off waiting until early next year.
I'm willing to nod earnestly in agreement.
unless the next guy is a cosplayer. In which case he can burn in the flames of Mordor with all the wannabe hobbits and wizards.
For anyone who picks this up on the shelf and is unfamiliar with Twisted Metal...how the hell are they going to know what the game revolves around. At face value, nobody wants to buy a game that features a close-up of a clown's face on the front of the case.
if graphics DIDN'T take a big leap.
I'd raise him on the good stuff, like FFVII, Shenmue, Mirror's Edge, Max Payne 2, LittleBigPlanet. He doesn't need to be subjected to identikit first-person shooters so early on in life; it wouldn't be fair on him.
Oh, and FOX are a crock of s***. Their typical ignorance on full display once again, giving in to sensationalism just to make sure they grab those few extra ratings. It's embarrassing.
they made The Room, and the second half of that game is quite possibly the nadir of the entire series. A giant escort mission, replaying the same levels all over again and being subjected to Walter's cackling laugh over and over and over does not make for an enjoyable experience. I'm with you on that - The Room is my least favourite too and maybe it was for the best that the members of Team Silent went off to work on other things. Their heart just wasn't in it anymore.

but it was filmed by camera instead of being a direct feed. This one is a direct feed however and it's so much better now; being able to pick up on all the nuances of the audio design while getting a much better grasp of how the graphics are faring. I think this game looks incredible visually, and the whole ambiance is very Silent Hill-esque too. In true fashion, the conversation is full of awkward silences and uneasy pauses between dialouge, a lot like James' interactions with the...
All I'm saying is, I would've.
Not now like, obviously. I'd sooner f*** a cup of AIDS than dip my wick in that horrid bint's venomous cooch.
To stay on topic, I don't envision good things for the Wii U. It certainly won't be the runaway success the Wii was. From an unbiased point of view I'm way more excited for the Vita personally, and I don't even like handheld gaming.
was used sarcastically there.
she was the only character in the game who wasn't a bisexual.
The diversity of its art design and environments is truly captivating; one stage is hugely reminiscent of Blade Runner, while another looks like it was taken straight out of a Saturday morning cartoon or something. Plus it's received Eurogamer's seal of approval with a 9/10 review and they're a notoriously hard-to-please publication, so that's good enough for me.
Day one.
it's a good time to be a Silent Hill fan.
He only has an evil side and an evil side masquerading as a kind side.
Basically, the guy is the pure embodiment of all evil.
Replied in the wrong place, please ignore.
I want HD upscaling and trophy support, not the old versions on the PC. Plus I generally hate playing games on the PC anyway.
And I've already played Conviction for the 360, some months back. I didn't like it much, though I didn't expect to either, hence why I purchased it second hand for dirt cheap instead of getting it day of release.
This HD collection though - yah I'm definitely getting this day of release.
but yeah, I want this collection so bad. £25 for this lot seems too good to be true.
You respect Jim Sterling's opinion?!
There aren't enough facepalms in the world to accompany this embarrassing copycat shovelware.
