The industry is overly reliant and inundated with sequels, and too few studio heads are willing to take the risk with a new IP and just go for the easier option of trying to establish a franchise instead. Video games need more people like David Cage and I wholly support him in his next venture, just like I did with Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain.
No bulls**t involved. No time-consuming monotony, no grinding, no irritating online trophies (bar a measely two); just the perfect amount of challenge and variety. CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS GAME!

Never liked the franchise beforehand anyway, so I'm in a fortunate positiion here. I'm very fond of Ninja Theory, and with them on board this time to incorporate their own idiosyncracies into this reboot, my interest in Devil May Cry is piqued again. Hack 'n' slash gameplay was never my bag anyway, I'm just in this for the sterling art design, music and emphasis on NT's mo-cap tech to bolster the characters/stroy. If they can improve upon the technical issues inhere...
