In a Halo game?! You're being sarcastic right?
A horror game where you character can die and the story carries on. Imagine the fear and tension that would arise from that. If done right, it would be unparalleled.
Cage doesn't want one, Heavy Rain doesn't need one. Let Quantic Dream be one of those rare developers that avoids churning out sequel after sequel.
instead of the first one. That would be a far more exciting proposition.
Now that's what I call crazy dollars and silly cents!
Everyone said that it was too niche a title to achieve any sales. Now Heavy Rain has reached it's predicted sales quota and we're still a long while from the end of the year.
Ahh, to see a risky, original endeavour prosper; it warms the cockles.
It's why I respect Sony far more than Microsoft at the moment. And why my PS3 reigns supreme while my 360 sits next to it gathering dust.
For me, a games ability to scare is often quite dependant on its control scheme. There isn't a first person shooter out there that can properly scare me. But give a game a third person view mode and tank controls, and suddenly the tension mounts up considerably. Why is that?! I have a tough time handling the early Silent Hill games, and I eventually had to give up on Project Zero because it got too much.
he's a zombie pirate.
GAAAAAR!
lolz, that sounds like something Sully would say.
John Marston. Now there's one cool cat. You dig?
for what would be like, the 4th or 5th time. Playing that masterpiece is like meeting up with an old dear friend.
I was a big fan of the first two Fear Effect's and to know that a third one was nearly finished for the (back then) next-gen PS2 got me weak at the knees. But because of the massive bastards that Eidos are, it eventually got cancelled. Still reeling from that one.
I mean, that difficulty spike just came out of nowhere.
because the multiplayer wasn't as good as the first Modern Warfare. It was woefully imbalanced in many of its facets (despite what James Cameron said, more doesn't always equal more). Plus I had no desire to play through the incoherent guff that was the single player campaign.
without mentioning Final Fantasy VII. I'm sorry, you just can't. The lack of FFVII in this list renders it null and void.
Some personal fav's of mine...

you'd have to reload a lot.
You could take a still frame of any part of that game and it would look like a painting.
Let me tell you, it was a relief and then some to finally reach the end.
Nah mate. 'This' is a knife!"
