I disagree. They did play a big part in making gaming popular with the NES and the wii but they really offer nothing new that satisfies the true gamer. That's where sony stepped in and made gaming what it is today.

you make a good point deadreckoning, but sony truely cares for us where microsoft doesn't. Sony would take a bullet for us consumers and they did so when selling the ps3 at a loss. any site that gave Prototype a better review than Infamous should just give up on gaming. Infamous is probably one of the most under-rated games out there. If it was 360 exclusive you could expect an average score well into the 90s.
