That's the problem BlackTar187, rolling throughout 60% of the game be quite dull. I agree with people that you may feel satisfied at the end of the fight of the game, but seriously rolling in no means possible is a strategy, it's a grind. At least I think so. I won't say combat is better than the souls series, but I would say, souls has more realism to it. You can literally dodge from under the sword of an enemy and when that happens, it feels out of this world awesome, but then a...
@Wallstreet, did you even read the comments to the post in your own link
@llFloodyll It's not better animated, unlike the souls series where you have to just dodge dodge dodge dodge dodge and hit, WItcher 3 has a similar mechanism with more fluid movement, justified because he is mutated to have good reflexes. Also Witcher has the decency to give you availability of tactics, Souls doesn't have anything remotely near that. ALl the skill you need for those games is pa...
Comeone, the gameplay of Uncharted doesn't feel impactful at all. The only thing I have a problem with is the targeting system, which is a bit off. Otherwise, I think the combat is better than many other RPGs. Still can't comment on Dark Souls, simply not my cup of tea.
I saw the comments and am surprised to see people comparing Mass Effect to Witcher. Friggin, Mass Effect is a cover based shooter and Witcher is a melee combat based game.
As far as the repetitive gameplay goes, I think what they have said is true, but I'm more of a melee person. Where many RPGs place you in situations where you can either perfect your melee or can perfect your mage skills, the combat becomes dull. In case of Skyrim, the melee is just horrible. My god j...
As if Lou 'whatever the guy's second name is' has a lot of credibility. His 4/4 review was as bad if not worse than Michael's review. If you did read Lou's review that is. His review looked like the backstage promotional article that Sony had sent for the game and he wrote as if he was describing the E3 trailer of the game.
Agreed that it was off gaming topic, but look at the two reviews in discussion, both are poor reviews, just that the guy with the negative thoughts on the game did some kind of explaining, unlike the other guy who blatantly just wrote what the crowd wanted to read. Yet, when the second review was read by the fans, they were all "Hooray" and that, without a single person saying that the post wasn't even a proper review. This goes on to show that the fans don't care about the ...
To some extent was what I used as wording, because the games were so boring that I was practically dragging along the repetitive- Gunplay, Cutscene, QTE loop over and over again. I played U1 later but when U2 and U3 came, there were far more interesting games in the market. The game simply didn't have the elements required for a game to be interesting. I dunno how it rose to fame and gained such fandom, I'm assuming it is the Assassin's Creed effect. Give the crowd graphics and th...
Hahaha if 77 are added, this will prove that 5000 people actually care more about a stupid review than the game, which to begin isn't even decent. Sorry but it's good to make someone see the bitter truth and an enjoyable sight at that.
I would like to say that I had read the article which was supposedly the satirical one (After reading it, I didn't think it was), and just now I read the 4/4 review. Don't hate on me, I have played the first 3 Uncharted games to some extent and I pretty much agree with Michael. The games might (not my personal opinion) be story wise good, and the characterization may have been pretty but I didn't find a game in there, rather more of a cinematic experience (And being a gamer who ha...
