The thing that bugs me of this type of system, both trophies and achievements alike, is the attitude of people who whore them.
I know people who would rather play a 3-4 hour game to earn 700 or so points (and probably not have fun), than a longer gamer that is fun and not earn any points, or earn just a few.
People seem to have forgotten to replay a game because it is fun, and are replaying them because a score tells them to.
What's a PSP?
Fell out of the series after like 4 or so, these make me want to pick it up again at some point, and maybe try out the middley ones to see where it all went so wrong :S
Apparently USA isn't the entire world, who knew?
This seems a game you can't help but play with a grin so huge that if it got any bigger your face would be cut in two.
If jocks are becoming nerds, then nerds need to get nerdier.
D&D needs to be re-written in binary!
Heard the book had more breasts, and instead of killing death he only delivered a vicious Shoryuken to him. Hate it when things deviate from the book like that.
It's all looking so awesome, can't wait til Friday when I can get it.
How does no Halo Reach equal a fail? There are a lot of gamers out there who don't really care either way regarding that game. Halo has become so saturated that it isn't worth it. For any response of "it has a shallow, meaningless and vapid storyline" "oh, you have to read the novels" I don't want to, I want my game to be good, not the fluff that comes along with milking me for every penny.
Halo Wars was interesting for its take on a console RTS, and did well on that...
I loved this mode, spent muchos time in it, then got addicted to the manager made, bringing Aldershot Town into the premiership.
Awesome sauce, you guys keep on trucking! And Chase better stay awake all 48 hours
hurrah for topical comment indeed.
I've only just gotten back on Live, and frankly, not exactly alot to do. If price was raised, I just wouldn't bother with it. I wouldn't abandon the system, I'm not that fussed.
Was fun that got boring too quick.
Whether having free competition or not, if it were good, it would be succeeding, but bad games fail. Such is life.
This is the perfect moment for one of these:
*slow clap*
So, assuming this had worked, and thing had been full, burning mass plastic and creating a hole the size of Slough in the Ozone layer would be a success?
More or less than the Daily Mail?
Wow...what a bargain...
I like the idea of 3-D for a movie, as in for a specific and short (ish) amount of time. But when considering games I've spent a lot of time with, would I want a 3-D Warcraft? A 3-D Fallout? a 3-D Final Fantasy? I would be blind within a week, using the glasses is unnatural and it hurts after a time.
Just like you, I want to see more actual innovation.
