Yeah, but blanket statements never work. For me personally, the Metal Gear series has perfect narrative. And there are a good handful of others that are fantastic to me. I get that some are a bit shallow and cliche like a cheap bro flick, but there are plenty of examples in videogame history that have stellar storytelling.
I wish no one would've talked about this stupid review. Now that it's more known about, every up and coming wannabe "journalist" will use it as a soapbox to try and launch their career off of. Hell, even Adams initial comment may have been with the purpose to bait a bigger audience for his YouTube review channel now that he's not on sindicated television any more. I really love mine. LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted and Wipeout 2048 are more than enough reason for me themselves. The fact that I have every Metal Gear title on mine aside from Portable Ops (unlike Europe, still doesn't work on Vita here dammit. Better change soon.), the AC!D titles and MGS4 however are what makes mine a must own for me. I even have both DGNs on it.

Oh yeah, totally man. The XBOX that we know absolutely nothing about has everything that everyone wants, obviously. It's totally amazing. The other day I imagined it was a Transformer and it ripped apart my toaster, and I thought to myself "Wow, Microsoft is so good at making my imagination awesome when it comes to the new XBOX. I can't wait till it comes out!".

This is most likely. American gamers, most that think they are 'hardcore' are really just casual gamers who don't know what's coming out until they see it on a shelf, or see a commercial for it. And all they really want to do is play some COD or Halo and berate strangers. Microsoft has that group pegged. And I thank them for it. I hope most of those people stick with XBOX, it keeps them off my network.
Naughty Dog has stated that all their properties are already natively a very high resolution (bad recollection of the quote, but they were talking about making next gen games), so maybe a very very beautiful version of The Last of Us at launch? One can hope.
I wasn't replying to him, buddy. Don't go off and attack someone when you aren't competent enough to understand what is being said to whom. I understand time zones, I would imagine the network would be different for different regions, but maybe not. As far as the Americas are concerned, no matter what time zone you are in, that's a stupid time to take down the network.
From 4 P.M. to 3 A.M.? I do not envy your job then! I'll be working all day, however I'll be working from 6.A.M. to 4 P.M. and enjoy unwinding at night playing a bit of BF3.

Terrible timing. I'd prefer it if it started at 3 in the morning and ended at 4 in the evening. Then I wouldn't even notice the downtime. Who plays in the morning? We have jobs, SONY.
