Killzone is just nazi's in space, it's not going to replace COD or anything. It's a niche shooter as the sales figurs show. 3 million for Killzone 2 is less than any COD, Bad Company and Crysis 2 will sell more.
This game is amazing, all the butt hurt comments here are form Killzone fanboys who can't handle a game coming out a few weeks later that destroys their game graphically. Crysis 2 looks a lot more interesting than Killzone nazis in space part 2.
The thing that draws me to a RPG is interesting characters. If I see a RPG with generic looking characters I just can't be bothered to play it. Which is why I stopped playing Dragon Age about 5 hours in. And why I won't be getting this sequel. It all looks so generic with your typical RPG style characters. Nothing interesting about them at all.
Sniper plus his third secondary weapon. It's like a silenced machine gun pistol. Plus radar jammer and cloak. The bastard is like a ghost and is to over powered for multi player.

Shotty is over powered, far to much range on that thing. I hit someone miles away with it yesterday. so are snipers with camo and silenced weapon. This is a horribly balanced game, that's becoming clear as people get to grips with it. Worse balance than MW2
I cannot stand Rico, in Killzone 3 single player demo he looked like a Ewok, small and furry. I just wanted to put a bullet in his head. When he was down crying out for a medic, I kept shooting him in the head but he wouldn't die.

Xbox 360 owners like hunky guys that's why they play Halo and Gear of war.
IGN IP banned me for saying they did not review Killzone 3 in the same way they review other games such as Halo or Gears of war. I questioned why they did not mark down games such as COD and the above for having a bad story, and I was IP banned.
Bunch of Nazis over there, I guess they have to silence people like me so the Microsoft pay cheques keep rolling in. Was probably a part of the deal.

It's a special game, but what is this new physics engine he speaks of in the game? Throwing grenades to me is still a joke. They don't go where you want and bounce around like rubber balls off walls and ceilings
I played the single player demo last night with the sound off as it was late. And the game is actually better when you don't have to listen to the story, or Rico the tosser. They really do drag this series down a few points. Ditch them all for the next game and bring in likable characters with a interesting story please. The only way you going to get a 95% COD now is to put it on a new engine that can challenge Crysis 2, Killzon 3, and Battlefield 3 in terms of visuals. Add destructable levels like Bad Company. PS3 game = lol worthy low score for epic game.
I've played the Killzone 3 beta a lot and it's unbalanced. Snipers are WAY over powered. I have maxed out my engineer turrets, they do not do enough damage. His weapons suck. Which is why you hardly see any engineers. And a sniper can take them out in a couple hits.

I could not agree more. The game has become cloaked snipers with radar jammer and silenced pistols so they remain hidden all the time. It's a mess online. Worse than any COD I've played. They didn't even think the classes through properly. And because nobody uses any team work, it's one big cluster f*** online. Campers paradise
