The game is far from broke, I played for about 4 hours today and only had two issues. The first game I played people were skipping about, I put this down to lag. Then later I played a game where kill points took about 20 seconds to register. I brutal melee this guy and his corpse just hangs there in mid air for 15 seconds. Weird. I think this is also lag.
Other than that the game played fine all evening. I don't know why there seems to be some lag after the patch. I hop...
No Resident Evil because Capcom did not release them in the UK. I think there was a Virgin label on the RE games over in the UK.

I've never rated MotorStorm. I bought the second one and it looked good but the gameplay is hit and miss. I really dislike the boost feature that has you either going really fast or really slow. It's just not that good a game and the controls also suck. I'm passing on this third one and can see why others don't like it. It will sell ok in the UK where they are very good at these games but I expect it to bomb elsewhere.
No. When Resident Evil is on form the only game that can touch it is the first few Silent Hill games. If Capcom want to put this new kid on the block in his place they need to raise the bar with RE6. I'm tired of people comparing Dead Space, which is pretty decent, to the RE series which has had some major classics.

Lens of truth have a nice video up for this game. It looks awesome. They nailed the brutal side of Mortal Kombat, and they got it running 60fps on PS3 using Unreal engine , well done. This is the best Mortal Kombat to date.
