I did prefer my 360 for along time over PS3. But now it's shit, no games at all only Kinect rubbish that I don't care about. So I'll be getting Killzone 3 for my PS3. My 360 is only used to play old games now. As for the K3 beta, I can't get on most of the time I try. When I do it's blast. It's a good game that deserves more than the shitty 8.5 it got from places like IGN and Gamespot
Who cares, Bulletstorm is a awful game. I tried the demo and lost interest in five minutes. Horrible controls and a sense of humour that is so lame I felt bad for the game. Worst game I've played in years.

Killzone 3 is very standard in its gameplay. The gameplay is years behind the graphics. They should get Dice or Bungie to make this Killzone games. Then we would see real progress beyond visuals.
Killzone 3 wants to be COD and Bad Company all rolled into one. But doesn't do either game as well so sits somewhere in the middle looking a bit sorry for itself

Put about 5 hours into the beta, unlocked some new skills. Played with bots with all weapons and skills unlocked. It's a standard FPS dressed up with fantastic graphics. It deserves about 8/10 for not being ambitious in its gameplay. Where are the destructible buildings?, why are their so few guns and so few maps?. They did not push the boat out at all with this game. Just put out a tired sequel.
I've been playing the beta for a few days. It's good, better than Killzone 2. The more responsive controls make a big difference. So at the end of the day it's a good game. Dead Space is only top of anything because it's the start of the year and there are no other games out. I would like to see it go up against Mass Effect 3 or MW3.

I noticed this too. They wheel out the 9.0 and 9.5 reviews at launch so everyone buys the game. Then they come out with the realistic reviews a few weeks after launch.
They are playing gamers for suckers and each and every time gamers fall for it. Game reviewers are more sneaky than politicians. And the biggest bastard of them all is IGN.
In Killzone 3 the removal of custom matches, squads, proximity chat, and the ability to switch teams were all changes made to attract COD casuals.
They wanted this game to be played by the COD crowd, simple as that.
If Killzone 3 is not trying to copy COD then why has the heavy feel of the guns and aim been stripped away. It's now noob friendly. Anyone can snipe now, just like in COD. Why have they added those little on screen scores for kills. They have borrowed as much from COD as they could without the game being called a rip off. All they need now is to add rc cars for 3 kills and we have CODZONE.
Mass Effect 2 would be a masterpiece if it had depth to the gameplay. But it doesn't. It's RPG light. I expect Mass Effect 3 will be even more stripped down. If you want a proper Western RPG you'll have to wait for Skyrim or Diablo 3.
