Why where Sony's sales in the US so poor last month if there are all these great exclusives coming just around the corner? Could it be that no one cares ..?
Poor Sony - they're starting to sound desperate with these public attacks on their competitors. It won't change the fact that they had abysmal sales last month in the USA.
Just look at the $100 off sales of Amazon and Walmart. Someone is desperate ...
So let's be clear about this ... I will still get 100% of the game experience without Move?
So then what's the point of buying Move for this game??
You have to feel sorry for all the Kinect haters out there. "Why won't this damn Kinect just die?!?" Sadly for them, Microsoft have got it right once again and Kinect will be the must-have present for this Christmas.
But of course these are only VGChartz numbers, so we all know that this is just a bad dream. Tomorrow we will all wake up and only 2 or 3 hundred Kinects will be really sold!
Wow - they'll be giving them away free soon! But after seeing last months's sales figures for the PS3, that may be the only way to get people to buy one.
I think that we should let the Sony fanboys have their dreams.
Let them imagine that Move is selling better than Kinect.
Let them imagine that Sony's sales figures were better than MS and Nintendo last month.
Let them imagine that Sony is infact in 1st place.
After all, everyone has to have their dreams ...
One of the very best games I've played this year, and that includes games on both Xbox and PS3 consoles. Very pleased to see it getting some of the recognition that it richly deserves. The good news is that as sales trickle in over the coming months, the total is starting to get a little respectable.
Alan Wake II would be a dream come true ...
Has anyone hacked the Move yet? I don't remember seeing a flood of hacked Move videos on YouTube in the weeks after it was released. Could this be because the Move only tracks one dot of light, and there is not much that you can do with it?
Looking forward to seeing all these games in action. Kinect is a real step forward for gamers, although if you are tied to defending Sony or Nintendo you will of course never admit it.
The only thing that is a waste of space here is this review.
Seems like last month was a really bad month for Sony.
... and failed to make it work. Too bad Sony. But congrats on coming up with the light bulb on a stick idea. How long did that take you? Ten years?
Microsoft has learnt to do what Sony has not. Microsoft gives gamers what gamers want. Sony gives gamers what Sony wants. Hence the poor showing this generation for Sony in the U.S.
This is not the behaviour of a world class software company. Do they employ 10 year olds in the marketing dept?
And all they could come up with was a light bulb on a stick. Way to go Sony!
Since all the so called 'core' gamers are turning their nose up at the device, most Kinects will be sold to people who don't already own an xbox360. This will push sales of the base console through the roof!
And then when the 'core' gamers actually get to try the device and find out just how much fun it is, there will be a second wave of sales.
From underdog to over achiever in just 5 years. Everyone said that they couldn't beat the current console king. But where is Sony now?
Let's face it, who knew that anyone would buy a ten year old camera and a glowing ball on a stick. Sony must be laughing all the way to the bank.
But ... but ... can't you do this with Move too?? I mean, if I strap a move to each arm and leg, and one on my head, you could do this with Move!
